Do you have any information showing that diabetes causes obesity?

How do you know what she eats?
My statement stands.
She has a choice what she puts in her mouth to eat.
Sugar. Fat. Calories. Carbs. Snacks. Goodies. Soda. Large portions. OR NOT. CHOICES.

Again, let's change everything for .0004% of the population that is obese not because of eating too much.

So far Sook's post says 80% of obesity is inherited.
Mayo clinic says it is UNKNOWN where diabetes comes from.
Again, how do you know what she eats?

A no name site from a google search.

and established science says obesity can cause type two diabetes.

Again, I didn't say I knew what she eats,
I said she has CHOICES as to what she puts in her mouth.
And since most obesity is made by choice, (I gave the CDC link)
it's reasonable to assume she's making bad choices.
She has a choice what she puts in her mouth to eat.

Causes of morbid obesity include:
Genetics. Research shows that as many as 80% of people with obesity may have inherited the condition.
Poor sleep habits. Not getting enough sleep or not getting enough quality sleep is another contributing factor.
Certain health conditions. Conditions such as metabolic syndrome or polycystic syndrome (PCOS).
Some medications. Several medications can cause weight gain.
Stress.

The girl was in and out of homeless shelters for much of her youth. By the time she was 21, she had already been hospitalized 25 times. We are not dealing with a young woman who had much choice at all.
In 2018, Jae’lynn Chaney was up to 25 hospital visits for a mystery illness that was consuming her life.
.........
Chaney was born to teenage parents and was in and out of homeless shelters while growing up. But she worked for her high school diploma, which she got at 17, and then enrolled at Washington State University Tri-Cities. It had taken a lot to reach this point and now she was being diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension.

Weight gain is a side effect of diabetes. In other words, obesity is a side effect of diabetes.
Having obesity makes you more likely to develop diabetes, the condition of having too much glucose (sugar) circulating in your bloodstream. Obesity also causes diabetes to worsen faster.
Obesity is a major risk factor for type 2 diabetes but does not directly cause it. Physical activity, a nutritious diet, and weight loss may lower your risk for type 2 diabetes.
Obesity and type 2 diabetes often occur together. This is partly because obesity promotes inflammation throughout the body, potentially leading to changes in normal metabolic functions.1
Khanna D, Khanna S, Khanna P, et al. Obesity: a chronic low-grade inflammation and its markers. Cureus. 2022;14(2):e22711. doi:10.7759/cureus.22711
For example, these changes can affect the body's sensitivity to insulin (a hormone that helps metabolize food) and glucose metabolism (breaking foods down into sugar). In turn, these changes directly affect a person's risk of developing diabetes.
The accumulation of an excessive amount of body fat can cause type 2 diabetes, and the risk of type 2 diabetes increases linearly with an increase in body mass index. Accordingly, the worldwide increase in the prevalence of obesity has led to a concomitant increase in the prevalence of type 2 diabetes.
Obesity is a complex disease involving having too much body fat. Obesity isn't just a cosmetic concern. It's a medical problem that increases the risk of many other diseases and health problems. These can include heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, liver disease, sleep apnea and certain cancers.

Did she? When? When she was a little kids, in and out of homeless shelters or the times her parents were providing for her? When she was in and out of the hospital? When she was putting herself through school?
At what point was she actually able to take control of her life and make dietary choices?
