Turning his tail allowed him to live a couple months longer. He shouldn't have come back to Russia if he wanted to live.

If officially confirmed there’s 3 things that are interesting.

1. It’s interesting how this was possibly set up where after he/along with Wagner were exiled in Belarus, there was possibly enough room left for a false sense of security. Meaning it opens up where it creates multiple target areas and paths and options around for the target to be executed.

2. He was on video apparently from Africa recently.

3. Was Prigozhin this loose? Meaning flying around where there’s Russian AD systems and thinking no piece below would dare/initiate order to target his plane?

That’s IF that’s the official case because we don’t have an official statement how it went down.

If something was on board, it would be an insane overlook for that plane not to be inspected top down. With the crew on board of this caliber, profession and experience.

Unless it was some ingenious piece that was small enough to where it can trigger a catastrophic failure and be triggered from remote etc. Which is not out of the realm of possibility.

You have to remember, it’s completely possible he was targeted from other parties. And not just anyone in Russia.

In Russia that how dissident plane look on short final.

That's about the correct honor level for Putin, makes Machiavelli look altruistic. Putin's government is like the Mob without any semblance of ethics. At least Michael waited for his Mother to die before whacking Fredo.

What about the others on the flight?

Would Russia kill them as well as accepted collateral damage to get Prigozhin?

Why would they not freak out if they saw him boarding with them and see if they could find another way back to Moscow?

Everyone else was part of Wagner leadership or Wagner, so why wouldn't they? The only ones that weren't were the three crew. They killed three innocent people to cut the head off Wagner. It was a light plane, so there were only ten people, including the flight crew on board.

The plane almost looks as if its falling in slow motion. Do you believe the pilot may have been fighting it all the way to the ground? Pretty horrific if that was the case.

He could have been trying, but with a missing wing there’s nothing that could have been done, and no way to stabilize the aircraft.

His business makes them targets as well!

Probably , the Silent Shoigu decided to publicly compensate for moral damage.
Against this background, it may seem that Putin is far from controlling everything.

In addition to Prigozhin, and Utkin, the manifest listed the Wagner head of security, and three other confirmed members of the group. The seventh passenger name matches the name of a Wagner member, but be wasn’t high in the group.

Prigozhin is no great loss. He keeps being presented as some kind of anti-Putin hero but his main beef with him was that he wasn't getting enough bullets to kill Ukrainians, or to support any of the other missions Russia didn't want to dirty their hands with in the open.

The best hope is that the remains of Wagner and Putin's fascists bully boys kill each other off.

This is modern Russia we're talking about. They're literally burning the country down to the ground around them with an insane war and ludicrous levels of corruption, but they save their real ire for those who threaten their power base. They're mob bosses. Collateral damage is just fine with them, as long as the target is taken out.

Seems he’s been used as leverage by Putin. Probably sent into Africa by Putin, then Putin tells China Prigozhin has gone rogue but can resolve it in return for favours (backing/neutrality over Ukraine perhaps).

The coup makes this a plausible play by Putin, whether the coup was real or orchestrated (not impossible the coup was faked to draw out Putin’s enemies when they support it — it did end with strange abruptness)

Prigozhin May have been in on all this, not expecting to become a loose end himself. Or may have believed he was genuinely taking parts of Africa.

And let’s not forget, until Prigozhin‘s body is recovered and confirmed by sources other than Russia then there’s no guarantee he’s really dead.

Of course occam's razor dictates Putin got his revenge and Prigozhin is dead. Or China got rid of him

Sometimes people reap what they sow.

It's all very well blowing your political opponents out of the sky.

To prove a point and secure other's loyalty and continued service through fear.

But at some point, his world and the people in it, are apt to return the favor in kind.

Might be Putin's turn to burn sooner than he thinks.

Putting my tin foil on tight for this one, what if...

The recent Russian probe to the Moon did not fail, just went Top Secret as a clearer picture of the landing site surfaced before landing. Now Russia is caught up in some intergalactic war as it has gotten entangled with some alien thing.

Putin needs some who knows how to kick ass and quick, so Prigozhin got the call. As a cover story for where is Prigozhin as this is going to be a long mission. Officially, case closed.
