From what I understand, it doesn't necessarily strip them outright but puts them under local government control if they need to be rezoned and rebuilt.... allowing for, say, the residential homes that residents have refused to sell to make way for a housing complex/subdivision..... makes getting those built a whole lot easier.

And from what I hear, there are a lot of insurance claims being denied because of zoning issues.

There's a whole lot that doesn't make sense out there right now.

If I can, I will. most of them that I've seen have been amateur/bystander phone recordings circulating primarily on tiktok; pretty much the only place at this day and age to get coverage of anything that isn't completely spun, censored, and/or suppressed.

A vast majority of stuff uploaded to YouTube at this point even, gets taken down.

It allows commercial, such as high rise buildings, to be rezoned for residential, but 90% of the EO is simply streamlining the development and building process, and opening lands for low income housing because of the housing crisis.

It appears to have been a Chinese ACDL LIDAR from a satellite. It’s primary purpose is to monitor CO and air pollution, but most likely has a secondary purpose to map for potential missile strikes.

It's a land grab. Burn the people out and they can't afford to rebuild according to new codes. Then they sell the raw land to the mega rich who will build whatever they want.

And if you’re going to do that, it makes so much more sense to send someone with a lighter and a small amount of gas then orbital or airborne lasers.

Exactly. But, this is ATS.

The more I hear and see of this it's just not natural I don't know about lasers but something is off unless all those houses were grass huts so far 96 dead the ocean right there , Even the boats docks burnt up . They had said it was contained at one point sent the kids home from school then it got out of control again and killed all these people a lot will be kids , It just doesn't make sense how it hit so fast they couldn't even get to the water .

I wonder if you can cloud seed a flammable substance that would accelerate combustion ?

Fifty to eight mile per hour winds driving it. They told them to evacuate and the fire was there before they could even get in their cars, let alone get out of town. Lahaina is an old whaling town, so it’s a lot of buildings from the late 1800-early 1900 period.

There is no Denying this Technology Exists only the Question if it was used on Maui . What do you Think ?

Are there pine forests on Maui?

Looks photoshopped as hell.

Waihou Springs has a pine forest. It’s 40 miles from Lahaina though. It’s closer to one of the other fires. That one wouldn’t make sense to start with a laser, or arson, because it’s closer to the middle of the island near Makawao.

Interesting, I find it funny that the "blame" was deflected right away to Chinese satellites.

While reading i found another interesting article and PDF files
This one comes from the US Forestry Department, in 1987

Laser Ignition Device and Its Application to Forestry, Fire and Land Management

A laser ignition device for controlled burning of forest logging slash has been developed and successfully tested. The device, which uses a kilowatt class carbon dioxide laser, operates at distances of 50 to 1500 meters. Acquisition and focus control are achieved by the use of a laser rangefinder and acquisition telescope. Additional uses for the device include back burning, selected undergrowth removal, safe ignition of oil spills, and deicing. A truck mounted version will be operational by fall 1987 and an airborne version by summer 1988.

To me this shows that the Technology, Capability and Specific Intent, in this case to start a fire, does and has existed for some time.

Here is the PDF if anyone wants to read
U.S. Forestry Dept.

Interestingly enough I also found this Article from 2016 where the use of airborne mounted lasers are used to help slow fires.
NEW LASER SOLUTION COULD SLOW SPREAD OF FOREST FIRES

It exists, but notice the range. They’re talking about a man portable, short range system that they would carry into the area and use. The airborne version never went anywhere.

Laser technology has only really come into its own in the last few years, when they figured out how to combine a fiber optical beam into a more powerful laser. A truly powerful laser was huge, and nasty when it came to the power source. The ABL required a 747-400 to carry it, and after being retired it was cut into scrap within two years due to airframe contamination from the laser.

Or, a couple of guys with cans of petrol in dried out areas in hurricane force winds?

Airborne mounted lasers?

Sharks with fricken lasers is more credible than this bs?

yeah I get that 1 mile isn't very far but this was 30+ years ago

Granted I have not seen many forest rangers carrying lasers but I have to hope the tech has gotten better since then...

In any case I also found this video, are these the pods that we spoke of previously that are slated to be tested next year?
Sorry about the link, still haven't figured out how to post the double = youtube links

We also had an Airborne Laser Lab, on an NC-135, that shot down an air to air missile in the 1970s. Then there wasn’t a single airborne laser until the YAL-1A around the early 2000s. Someone’s Most because something was X years ago doesn’t mean we have better. Sometimes the technology has to catch up. That’s what happened here.

That’s one of the defensive pods that they’re working on. There are a couple of programs working on high power self defense systems.
