It’s always fun to see the lack of understanding of lasers.

Dane Wigington has an agenda and most of the time doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

I think it would be harder to hit an incoming missile than stuff that might burn on the ground.

Are you saying we have no ability to bring down an incoming nuke?

Not what I heard.

Oh I'm so glad to hear your daughters babies all survived! (Because that means all the rest of life's important things did too!). Continued blessings to you and yours!

I didn't know about the frog being the reason for not rebuilding. I thought it was because their is only the one road and the way the fire raced down the mountain, but I wouldn't be surprised. That's how we all roll on the west coast, guppies and frogs come first.

We got so much rain last season, we arent the tinderbox we have been for the last decade. But our winds haven't been acting right this year. So who knows.

The airborne laser in question, like most airborne anti missile lasers, was designed to hit a ballistic missile in the most vulnerable phase of flight. During the boost phase an ICBM is slow, and traveling a straight line. The problem where lasers are concerned is that you have to be parked practically on top of the launch site to be in range. The laser in the YAL-1A was so big it had to be carried in a 747-400. That’s a huge radar and infrared target, and a big, slow, not maneuverable platform. Meaning it’s incredibly vulnerable. Not what you want in an anti missile system.

Saying we don’t have an airborne laser is a far cry from saying we don’t have anti missile systems. I’d love to see how you made that leap. A laser is just one option for stopping incoming missiles, and wouldn’t work well in the terminal phase anyway.

Setting a fire with a laser from a plane isn't nearly as difficult as hitting a missile and isn't in a combat situation.

I believe we are quite capable of setting a fire on the ground with a laser weapon.

I'm not saying this is what happened. But I believe someone could do it.

You have to HAVE a plane mounted laser to do it first. And it’s not as easy as Hollywood and the internet believe.

I'll have to ask my brother. He worked on the 'Star Wars' project and so did my father before he died, at WSMR.

There are currently no aircraft equipped with lasers, other than very low powered self defense systems. There are several ground and ship based systems, but that’s it currently. A satellite based system would have all the issues with atmosphere that aircraft and land based systems would. Star Wars was designed to destroy incoming missiles in their midcourse phase.

So are you saying it isn't possible to start a fire with a laser? Or only that someone very rich could do so? We are really getting into MTG territory!

Why bother when you can start fires with cans of petrol? If you were so minded.

Especially in hurricane strength winds?

Right, that is the easiest way.

The locals in CA were reporting seeing blue beams come from the sky and fire start below. This was a big thing with the hippies here, not the right wingers. MTG picked it up from the locals and tweeted about it, and now she owns it.

Now Im hearing locals in Maui saying the same kinda things.....

People that have been traumatized don't make the best eye witnessess?

You really have to stop deciding what I mean and actually read what I’m saying. We currently have no airborne lasers flying. A space based laser wouldn’t be very powerful or accurate when it reached the ground. Nowhere in either of those statements did I say a laser can’t start a fire.

There are videos showing extremely powerful winds before, and just after the start of one of the fires. Nowhere has anyone in any video I’ve seen said anything about lasers.

Fun fact, lasers powerful enough to start fires can’t be seen by the naked eye, unless there’s something to reflect them.

Smoke reflects laser pretty well?

I don't believe the laser thing. I've said that. Im just saying that from things I read people saying in Maui, it sounds alot like the locals here that went thru the fires.

I don't know what they saw.

Smoke also affects the beam. So once the fire starts they’d move on to another target, and aim away from the smoke.

Well, its all a hypothetical anyway. I believe in the wind more than space lasers. I know what the wind does.

Our wind isn't 'right' this year. Ive lived in the same house a mile from the water in So. Ca. for over 30 years. There are two prevailing winds and they behave a certain way. The trees here all lean in the same direction from the western breeze off the water, it's cool to cold. In the winter we get winds from the east that are hot and dry. Called Santana winds (or Santa Ana winds if you are a gringo). Devil Wind. Generally Santana named himself after these east winds.
He said he would blow like the Devil Wind thru Texas. We get this in the fall and winter. These are the hot dry fire spreading winds.

This year we are getting swirling wind nearly every afternoon. Gusting not a steady airflow like normal. And they blow in a circle. We had a mini tornado a couple of weeks ago that woke me up! No rain or hail which we usually get with wet winds from the water. This one just blew like hell, and I thought, wow, the magnetic pole must have shifted, in my half sleep.

Something is wrong with the winds.

It is the same here in Florida (central FL, Orlando area)
For years the rains in the summer have come at around 2pm and they would be gone in about 20 minutes, IF the scattered storms in the afternoon missed you then you would get them after sunset, with awesome lightening. This was on a nearly daily basis
Last year was really dry not so frequent and definitely not the daily occurrence, my water bill was much higher trying to keep my grass green.

This year the winds are crazy, normally we would get winds ahead of a strong front or isolated storm but once the rain started the winds died, I never used to have shut my windows except for the hurricanes. This year the storms are bringing heavy winds that are sustained, they start way ahead of the storm fronts lasting through and after the storms.

As well as the timing and duration of the storms is way off, they are coming much earlier in the day and lasting longer, but unless its a well organized front they have not come at night.
Its kinda funny, the weather kept saying a few weeks back, that we were getting lots of sand from Africa and it would diminish the rain chances. Those were the nights that we have had the most rain and the best lightening shows this year.

Thankfully we haven't had too many wildfires this year, yet (hope i didnt jinx it)

So for all the snideness from some posters, nobody seems to be able to explain why a car in a parking lot can burst into flames with no fuel around it. Leaving the foliage green on the few trees around them still standing.

Do you think Jewish space lasers are targeting things? do you not see the hypocrisy of talking about vids showing a person what they want to see?

Sorry for being snide, but not everything is some conspiracy. Fire is an odd thing, we had a whole town burn down a few years ago, and every summer is fire season. Mix wind, in with little or no rain , and it can be very disastrous and unpredictable. Trees hold water, if the fire passes through quickly, runs out of fuel and moves on, some stuff will survive, luck of the draw.

Anyway, the weather is changing, whether we like it or not.
