The other 28 pages where you guys are dancing around the fact that her genetics aren't white enough for you even though she looks exactly like Snow White when she's in costume?
Something tells me you guys wouldn't be concerned about "confusing kids" if they had cast a blonde surfer girl from California.
The actress, who is of Colombian descent, is the first Latina to ever play a Disney princess in a live-action film. She said playing Snow White resonates with her because she "never really saw myself represented" as a Disney princess in the past.

OMG
And Romeo & Juliet become Puerto Rican in West Side Story.
The horrors. The cultural appropriation.
Never should have let it happen.

What's being changed? It's a white girl playing a white girl.

They’d have to hire an albino.

To be one with the cause ANNEE I think you need to change your Avatar to a Black Trans Female. How dare you imply Anne was a White freckle red-headed girl.
And here you keep telling us how non-ridge you are... bah Maybe it is the Anne you identify with...hmmm

Let's hope they never find out about the time that an Australian director made a Romeo & Juliet movie set in 1990s LA and even had the gall to cast a Colombian as Tybalt.

My problem with that casting is that Johnny Depp hasn't done a good movie since he started playing all of his parts as Jack Sparrow.

Just Google, folks.
The left lost their minds when Johnny Depp played Tonto in the Lone Ranger remake.

It was not a good movie.
Controversies usually generate interest.
If the movie is good — you’ll hear “yeah, brilliant casting”.
If it sucks it sucks.
No clue about your point and even you can't be this obtuse as much as your replies seem to be.
When you physically change a character it is no longer that character. Wave your magic wand and now Ariel is Black and so it isn't Ariel anymore, this is so simple it's stupid.
