My random anecdote means that children should be educated about sexual things because they will be exposed to it at some point in their lives and we should prepare them for that, I was rather unaware of what was going on when someone got me drunk and then sexually assaulted me.

I can go report them yes but as I have stated in this thread earlier I am unable to undo what that has done to me as a person.

The change to me is irreversible, perhaps if I had a little bit better of an education of how sexual things can go I might have been able to avoid being sexually assaulted as a 15 year old.

But I will admit that that is just speculation on my part, and don't call me a f****** groomer a******.

I don't consider 12 to 14 year olds 'young children" and some of them are even having sex at that age. I knew a girl in junior high (7th grade) way back in 1967 who was doing the deed.

you didnt read the entire thing from that quote. teenager is not a little child in reality anymore. And they also said they have to be at stage 2 of sexual growth,as in Starting puberty. in almost all cases. These decisions are made with a doctor and parent almost all the time. So you do not believe a parent has a right to do what they deem as good for their child?

No, not when that involves drugging a perfectly healthy child or mutilating them. This is a mental illness, and should be treated as such.

If my lad came to me and said “Dad, I want to be a girl” I wouldn’t support their fantasy, I’d do what any responsible parent would do and tell them the truth, it’s not possible. Then I would seek psychological help for them. However, that would never happen as I’m an attentive parent who brought my kids up properly with a good education, discipline, morals and respect.

So again you try to unlink physical health and mental health saying that a child going through a mental crisis is perfectly healthy, but should be treated, you contradict yourself.

Why would someone in perfect health require treatment?

To spell it out for you claiming a child going through a gender crisis is perfectly healthy degrades their experience and says that it is not a problem worth putting time and effort into, just telling them what the feel isn't true will never help, so your idea of treatment would just be something like incarceration and re-education.

My only issue in these threads are generalization.

The only generalization I found to apply to any group of people that identify under an umbrella is, there are mostly good people and always assholes.

Do you condemn all Jewish people the same way you condemn all transgender people?

It's not like mutilation is a necessity to be a worthy part to the trans community.
it's not like mutilating underage boys was a big nono until now.
It's trendy in the USA, so I really don't get the sudden outrage over some symptoms of a sexually repressed and traumatized society, i think we're about to reap the fruits of that ideology from more than one crop....

We simply need to re-acknowledge in society, as we did for a brief period there between the late 90s and 2010s that there are males who are more feminine than average and females who are more masculine than average. Neither means you are the opposite sex, or anything wrong with you.

You can’t treat mental illness with surgery or puberty blockers. Causing a hormonal imbalance in a child already suffering from mental illness doesn’t seem like a good idea to me.

Both of them are very well mannered and happy kids who’ve done exceedingly well academically. There was nothing to fix as I was a responsible parent who protected them from damage in the first place.
