Maybe 'Im not happy and am going to off myself' wouldn't be an excuse if we were all taught that happiness is ultimately an inside job. And if a person is unhappy, they should adjust their attitude before they adjust their body. But I think that must be harder.

Therapy should help people figure out happiness.

But people are rarely willing to do the homework,.

They changed the definition under political pressure. Being gay was considered a mental illness for decades before they changed it.

No scientific study showed any new information.

The science of psychology is tricky. Gotta keep agendas and pressure out of it. Which doesn't always happen.

Mental hospitals used to house people that were suicidal. They watched them and kept them medicated and they saw a therapist a couple of times a week and they got 3 squares and when they were ready to go home they got better.

They used to do lobotomy to keep people quiet and calm.

Now they live in the streets and scream back at the voices in their heads and self medicate and how many actually manage to kill themselves, quickly that is?

The fashion industry sets much of the beauty standard. It is dominated by gay males in charge. The female models must look like tall 12 boys in too much makeup. 5'9 and up, no cellulite, no big breasts, nothing larger than a size 4 skirt. It's easier to look the part of a fashion model for transwomen than the average gal on the street.

Women starve themselves into the hospital to look model thin. It's not a natural look for a woman.

This is all performance and pagentry, with the fanbase seeking to emulate their favorite Instgram stars.

A lot of folks with mental illnesses adopt this new fashion as an escape from the boring mundane or their lives.

It's a magical solution to deep seated problems.

When it doesn't work the way it's supposed to, many of these people kill themselves.

There are those who find relief and peace i their transitions, who live quiet unassuming lives, then there are the exhibitionists and sexual deviants.

I think what people have against the recent hype is that it seems to be focusing on those who make their private business EVERYONES BUSINESS and gives the quiet community a bad name.

We're being shown and sold the spectacle and they're sweeping the mentally ill under the rug and using them like cashcows and cannon fodder for sensationalist headlines.

Is a transwoman a man or a woman?

Why someone who is a biological male should take part in female competitions?? Living as a woman or identifying as a woman doesn't make you a woman.

Well, as long as kids aren't being encouraged to transition before 18, I don't see the big deal considering that any teenager with internet access can find out information about being trans pretty easily.

Perhaps if the left just agrees to leaving surgery and hormone treatment to 18+ and not pushing trans women in women's sports, then we can move on to more important subjects

I don't think we need to have strict laws only for minors. Do you know how many confused and vulnerable adults are out there?

Transitioning should become a very difficult process under law. There should be massive fines and indictments of a criminal nature for the people behind this phenomenon, and I mean the pharmaceuticals. They're pushing non stop this agenda for profit by destroying the lives of children and adults.
