College student gets zero grade in her project for using the term biological woman

It's perfectly acceptable to use the word instead of the meaning of the word. You have got to be putting us on with this suggestion. Nobody is expected to only use definitions of words instead of words.

You totally missed it. The student was asked to use the term biological female or cisgender instead of biological women, but she refused. Even your dictionary reference uses the word 'female'. The student is the one who is losing out nobody else.

You missed it. The professor wanted to penalize her for using a perfectly correct and acceptable terminology.

There is no law against offending people. And facts don't care about your feelz. Women are adult human females. You can use the words interchangably.

Biology is biology regardless of politics, religion, or personal identity.

There is nothing transphobic about that.

You and I can do whatever we feel is right for us, but the student signed up for a course where words matter, definitions matter and if she does not want to respect transfolk by using non-offensive terms then she should have selected a topic not about transfolk.

No. The whole point of this thread is that apparently we can't because it will fail us in college now or have you lost track of that in the middle of all your arguing?

We women are only allowed to call ourselves women now when we're defending our "right" to abortion. The rest of the time, we are at the mercy of what the trans-lobby and the "woke" police allow. In most cases, we are not allowed to refer to ourselves as women or protest when men in dresses invade our spaces because it makes them "feel" bad.

Meanwhile, we get beaten savagely in our previously private safe spaces and severely injured by them on the field of play because when we point out that the emperor has no clothes, we're called transphobes and we fail our college courses now.

Never have I been upset on this thread, are you thinking of yourself?

You are twisting the whole premise. It's not the word woman it's how the student refused to use the non-offensive term as was required in the syllabus to not cause offense nor harm to others. The student refused and got a zero. End of story. The only person losing is the student, let's hope she learned a lesson from all of this grandstanding.

Yes Ketsuko, your early point that they want to cancel women now is true.

The word 'woman' is now offensive. The word 'female' is the acceptable term. Like a bitch dog.

How long until biological females will be obligated to identify by going into public wearing a full burka with a slit in the face sheild for eyes, while the males dress up pretty in dresses and makeup at night. Like in Afghanistan.

Update: The student has apologized for using the term 'biological women' as she says it was a redundant term and she now has an extension to finish her paper and has someone else grading it. So she will now follow the rules but wants to drag her professor through the mud for upholding the university's policies and rules.

Of course, she did. The student needs to get the grade. I had a radical professor too, and I had to spout all kinds of crap on his history test in order to pass. That doesn't make it (or the professor) right. When they can force you to repeat a lie on your academic work, are you learning truth or being indoctrinated? I wonder.

I also find it funny that there are two fronts on this war: women and children. And why is there no pushback against them like there is against the ones trying to make me a non-person and indoctrinate my kid?
