Exactly.

Bad things can happen anywhere, any time, and do. Women get raped while jogging. Kids get shot in school.

Risk cannot be 100% alleviated, and to avoid all risk is impractical if not impossible.

Bottom line: it's the fault of the assholes who do the bad things, not the fault of the victims.

And as I said, people might *want* to do something, but that is very different from actually doing, or attempting to do.

Did your mother have any children that lived? I never said anything of the sort.

A crime is a crime but you have to protect yourself because when you make bad choices the police won’t be there to help. You operate on what people should do and I will operate on what they will do. I will not live in San Francisco. I will not leave what is valuable to me un guarded. I will not intentionally walk into a bad situation.

If these girls were raped, trafficed or whatever then how does anything stop. It after the fact? It’s better to not be in that situation.

I know how ORM works been doing it for 20+ years in the military, you cannot alleviate every risk but you can minimize the risk you are exposed to and once more, I AM NOT BLAMING THE WOMAN.

Now we no longer seem to do so and people are shocked when horrible things happen, when different choices could have alleviated the risk.

Me, well I thank god cell phones werent a thing back then, I am astonished Ive lived this long.

Saw it quite a bit and had to step in a few times after joining the military at 24, lots of bad decisions get made when people are wrapped in bubble wrap then suddenly released in the world with no understanding how mucked up it is.

Exactly, there is and was always bad people in the world, we just learnt at a younger age to navigate our way through it, now its done for us and I don 't think its for the best - mistakes are what teach you.

I compare it to the fact that many youngsters can't read a map due to satnavs and phones - skills that are a very important basic.

Too much is done for the young of today and they are not nearly as smart or streetwise as they think they are.

I think I'm stating the obvious when I say that this dude's being framed because of the things he says.
