Elon Musk, the genius behind SpaceX and Tesla Inc., has declared that humanity must embrace the merging of man and machine if we hope to survive in a world dominated by artificial intelligence (AI).
Musk believes that by merging with AI, humans will be able to keep up with the rapid advancements in technology and compete against AI. He argues that rather than trying to beat machines, humans should join them. Neuralink's ultimate goal is to create a world where humans and AI work together in harmony, augmenting each other's abilities and achieving more than people can on their own.

...because the right wing are the fascists lol. Substitute "right wing" and "QAnon" with "left wing" and "trans activist" and it is spot on. It seems Gen. Flynn saw what was coming. Who is Jim Stewartson? His opinion is comical at this point

Don't wanna be that guy but yes, if we're being honest, there absolutely are fascist ideologies that span both sides of the political aisle. People have been led to believe that right wing and left wing are opposing factions of government. The true polar opposite of any government party is zero government party. Democrats and Republicans are on the same side of the true divide.
Elon Musk is reportedly planning to launch an artificial intelligence company to compete with OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, as Silicon Valley battles for dominance in the rapidly developing technology.
The billionaire boss of Tesla and Twitter is in the process of bringing together a team of AI researchers and engineers and is in talks with several investors about the project, according to the Financial Times.
A bunch of people are investing in it … it’s real and they are excited about it,” a person with knowledge of the talks told the newspaper, which cited Nevada business records showing that on 9 March Musk incorporated a company called X.AI of which he is the company’s sole director.
In company filings, Musk recently changed the name of Twitter to X Corp. The move was part of his plans to make an “everything app” branded “X”.
For the new AI project, Musk has reportedly got thousands of high-powered GPU processors and is also said to have recruited engineers from leading AI labs, such as DeepMind.
What could be the reason behind Google’s parent company Alphabet having two AI research wings under it – Google Brain and DeepMind? Ironically, both these companies have different philosophies and approaches towards AI. This, over the past few years, has resulted in small feuds between them. But together, they are stronger than ever, and now might be the perfect time for them to align and compete against rivals.
Guess what? It’s already happening!
Google and DeepMind are collaborating on a next-generation project called the Gemini. According to a report from The Information, both companies are “pausing grudges” and joining forces to go beyond what OpenAI has achieved or planning to achieve. The project is led by Jeff Dean, head of Google Brain.
DeepMind also has another LLM called Chinchilla, which powered Flamingo. But none of the LLMs is publicly available. In January, DeepMind announced that it will soon release Sparrow, a chatbot that does things that ChatGPT cannot. But since then, the company has been suspiciously quiet on this front. We say, the Google-DeepMind partnership would be a befitting reply to Microsoft-OpenAI.
There might be a clash between DeepMind’s and Google’s philosophy towards AI. DeepMind’s philosophy is started by Hassabis’ research-based approach. Though he has been the one who drove AI development all these years through AlphaFold, and several other innovations, he agrees with the notion that such “powerful AI technology” poses a potential danger and can cause significant damage to humanity.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution, 4IR, or Industry 4.0, conceptualises rapid change to technology, industries, and societal patterns and processes in the 21st century due to increasing interconnectivity and smart automation. The term was popularised in 2015 by Klaus Schwab, the World Economic Forum founder and executive chairman, and has since been used in numerous economic, political, and scientific articles in reference to the current era of emerging high technology. Schwab asserts that the changes seen are more than just improvements to efficiency, but express a significant shift in industrial capitalism.

X-Corp Pharma: Research, development, and production of Krakoa's pharmaceuticals.
X-Corp Telecom: Development of the Ionospheric Bandwidth Generator for faster communication. The mutant circuit of Vulcan, Bishop, Thunderbird and Sunspot activates the generator.

Does he have an agenda? I believe so. And its not to free humanity.

I don't know about right wing in general but right wing here in the U.S. does not mean no government at all. Obviously, the Republican party is a governing entity with elected officials and constituents. Zero government would mean literally no governing party at all. I suppose another way of looking at it is grading the Republican & Democrat parties on two separate sliding scales from 1 to 10. 1 being the least amount of government and 10 being the most restrictive, controlling abusive form of government you can imagine. You may not believe it but both sides are very capable of sliding into authoritarian dictatorship when corruption is rampant as we're witnessing right now--like you said, a uniparty that pretends to be opposites. The right will tell you they stand for less government and continue playing "good cop bad cop" with the left but when it comes down to it, they won't relinquish control if it means they have to sacrifice power. And we're about to find out how compromised our government really is. Both sides.
The only way people will ever get less government is by learning how to govern themselves. But people are too willing to hand over control and decision making to "experts" and "authority figures". That's how we get into this mess over and over again.

IF, and only if the Robot laws are coded into the operating system would that have to be so. If it is not coded in there as you are pointing out may not be the case with AI, then all bets are off for Asimov's Robot Laws.
