s it just me or did I hear a solider with a North American accent yell "I need more ammo" @ 9:35 and then a few other NA accented words scattered throughout?

Ukrainian Foreign Legion

Yes, I'm aware of them. This was reported to be Ukrainian Special Forces. I guess the legion is just scattered around and even doing special ops. hmmmm nice way to get NATO troops at the sharp end of the spear.

they use them in all sorts of missions, and Ukraine also started a least one SF regiment in feb of last year from international volunteers .

A foreign fighter special forces unit, separate from the International Defense Legion of Ukraine established on February 27, has been initiated by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's intelligence directorate (GUR), the ministry announced on Monday.
Ukraine forms special forces unit for foreign fighters

'
there's also a wiki that says the same.

chances are that foreign SF operatives were volunteers from around the world were joining and the unit was formed.

It really is pathetic.

For someone who likes to present himself as a strong man, it is truly embarrassing.

Trouble is, if he is replaced, it's likely the new guy will be even worse.

By-product of a system in which the leader can not be seen to be at fault.

15 September Update

Ukrainian forces liberated Andriivka in the Bakhmut area on September 14 and continued offensive operations near Bakhmut and in western Zaporizhia Oblast on September 15. . . . The Ukrainian 3rd Separate Assault Brigade reported that its personnel liberated Andriivka and “completely destroyed“ the Russian 72nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (3rd Army Corps) after encircling the settlement.

Ukrainian forces conducted naval drone strikes on Russian ships in the Black Sea on September 14. Ukrainian Strategic Command reported that Ukrainian forces caused unspecified damage to two Russian “Vasily Bykov” Project 22160-class patrol ships in the southwestern Black Sea on September 14.

Russian forces conducted another series of Shahed-131/-136 drone strikes targeting Ukrainian rear areas on September 15. Ukrainian officials reported that Russian forces launched 17 drones from Krasnodar Krai in the direction of Khmelnytskyi Oblast and that Ukrainian air defenses shot down all 17 drones.

Russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast and advanced in some areas on September 15.

"Azerbaijan's military has been boosting its forces near Armenia, and its vehicles have been painted with symbols reminiscent of those employed by the Russian army before its entry into Ukraine.

The Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) published open-source intelligence which appears to verify Armenian claims that Azerbaijan is preparing for conflict."

Seems like a fake video, she makes fake videos.

English speaking spokesperson for the Ukrainian military: Ukraine will hunt down "Russian propagandists"

She has nothing at all to do with Ukraine, or its government, and has stated:

"I am not Ukrainian, I don't owe the Ukrainian state an ounce of loyalty, & US leaders have failed to provide a convincing argument about how the war in Ukraine is a US national security concern. Defending Western civilization ain't cutting it... sounds like Nazi bull# to me."

This is her twitter account:
twitter.com...

She is pretty clear about what she is doing and who she is:

"In today's information war, the people Ukrainian and NATO propagandists fear the most are the ones like me who used to support their narratives, but saw the light and defected to the other side."

Source

Since she creates fake videos, it is hard to believe anything she says is true, but she claims to be US military vet who "defected to the other side".

I can't support your cause to condemn what may be just another fake video from a self-declared Russian propagandist saying to hunt down russian propagandists, I mean, really? You can't stop Russian propaganda, just recognize it exists and finds its way to lots of places, even here in this thread.

I was unable to find any Russian advances on the Deep State map, so either they are delayed, or too small to show up on the map, like 10 meter advances. It seems like Ukraine is making most of the advances these days, like taking the rubble pile that used to be Andriivka, that does show up on the map. Russia is attacking in the areas mentioned, but usually don't advance much if at all, and even when successful they usually get pushed right back.

Seems like the toughest nut to crack is north of Bakhmut, where instead of being defended by the Russian army, it's defended by another private military contractor (PMC) "Storm Z" (not Wagner, but there are other PMCs still fighting). Ukraine is making advances south of Bakhmut, but not north of Bakhmut.

Apparently the PMCs are better fighters than the regular Russian soldiers, so losing Wagner was a significant loss for the Russian side. The former Wagner soldiers have apparently been wooed to sign contracts by not only Russia but also by Belarus, but I don't know how many signed up because the pay is a lot lower than what they were accustomed to. I wonder if some will end up at other PMCs like Storm Z etc.

Well your description of the video is worth zero, you're supposed to describe the contents, and you failed to do that. But I watched it and described some of the contents anyway.
"15k.) Video links/embeds: You will not embed or Post a link to a video without a reasonable description of its content and why it interests you, is germane to the topics discussed on the Websites or the topic of an existing thread should you post it in a reply to an existing thread."

The author claims that Ukraine's forces are accumulating for a possible upcoming battle north of Bakhmut, and he also says the Russians will want to fiercely defend that territory so there could be a big battle coming up there if he's correct.

But otherwise I think he's got some strange ideas that the Russians are posting accurate figures for the losses of Ukrainian troops. Not that Ukraine's figures for Russian losses are accurate either; both sides tend to exaggerate the losses of the other side, but the Russians have done worse. Even Russian Milbloggers have criticized the Russian MOD for claiming that Ukraine troop losses were even higher than the number of troops in a given area. So all this analysis he goes on and on about why the losses were ~700 last week and ~800 the week before that and why it's reduced by ~100 seems nuts when neither of those figures is really reliable. He doesn't seem to consider the possibility that Russia is actually responding to the criticism of the Russian milbloggers telling them to stop their exaggerations to such ridiculous levels that they are not believable by anybody, and maybe that's why the figure got reduced from ~800 to ~700, and that reduction may have nothing to do with actual losses.

Apparently, China has released a new map of their borders and ironically annexed Russian territory. The funny part is the kremlin can't afford to upset China. All other countries are fiiing protests and all Russia can do is say well we have an agreement in 2008. When its obvious China could care less about the agreement. They know Russia cant tell them no make a deal with the devil you pay the price. Just wait until they annex other Russian territories they still claim to own alot of siberia.

Russa took Manchuria and some other areas from China, so we have discussed in the recent past if China decides it wants its land back with how Russa is trying to take Ukraine.

I found this very interesting. It's a report from CNN.

US gives Ukraine industrial-sized 3D printer for repairing trucks, weapons and equipment
From CNN's Natasha Bertrand

Last month, the US provided Ukraine with an industrial-sized 3D printer that can be used to print spare equipment parts that may break down or require maintenance, according to Bill LaPlante, a US under secretary of defense.

The printer is the size of a truck, LaPlante told the Center for New American Security, and “it is changing the ball game” of how quickly Ukraine's military is able to repair trucks, rocket systems and other weaponry or equipment provided by the West over the last 18 months.

Ukrainian techs are also “remarkable at tele-maintenance,” LaPlante said, which involves US officials helping them repair things remotely — a vital strategy, given the US’ footprint in the country is largely limited to the embassy in Kyiv.

The US official says Ukraine completed training on the printer within the last week.

Now why I find this interesting is now Ukraine can manufacture any parts they need to repair vehicles. And in order to do that means they are getting the specs for the parts. Once you get to that level of detail just a mater of time until you start producing your own.

Where is the evidence this is a fake video and she is involved in making fake videos? Pretty sure the video has even been posted by Sarah Ashton-Cirillo on her own twitter account. What does Na'omi Ducaena Allen not being connected to the Ukrainian government have to do with anything?

16 September Update

Ukrainian forces continued offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction on September 16 and continued to make gains in the area. Geolocated footage posted on September 15 confirms that Ukrainian forces have advanced south of Rozdolivka (about 13km northeast of Bakhmut) and in northern Klishchiivka (about 6km southwest of Bakhmut).

Ukrainian forces also advanced in western Zaporizhia Oblast on September 16 and continued to penetrate the Russian defensive layer that lies ahead of the current extent of Ukrainian advances. Geolocated footage published on September 16 indicates that Ukrainian forces advanced along Russian defensive positions to the west of Robotyne (10km south of Orikhiv).

Ukrainian newspaper Ukrainska Pravda published a photo reportedly from a source within the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) that indicates that Ukrainian naval drones struck and damaged a Russian Bora-class corvette near the entrance to Sevastopol Bay in occupied Crimea on September 14.

Russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line, in the Donetsk-Zaporizhia Oblast border area, and in western Zaporizhia on September 16 and advanced in some areas.

Indicated in the text beyond the summary section--

Russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line and advanced on September 15. Geolocated footage published on September 15 indicates that Russian forces advanced west of Raihorodka (12km west of Svatove).

ISW often doesn't specify how deep of an advance was made.

Who is in the video? It's not Sarah Ashton-Cirillo.

Here is the video by Na'omi Ducaena Allen
twitter.com...
She says "We in Ukraine are led on this mission..." representing herself as Ukrainian. So the evidence it's fake is her self description that she's defected to the other side, she's misrepresenting herself as "we in Ukraine". To repeat, she has said:
"I am not Ukrainian, I don't owe the Ukrainian state an ounce of loyalty", so either "we in Ukraine" has to be fake, or ""I am not Ukrainian, I don't owe the Ukrainian state an ounce of loyalty" has to be fake, I'm going with the former. You want to choose the latter? What's your evidence for that?

You literally quoted this when you replied to the video posting here:

Do you know what SNL is? It's a comedy show, there's even a smiley face laughing at it. So it sounded like the person posting it was laughing at it, that wasn't a clue for you that it's a fake video?

Your link to the Cirillo post of the video is Cirillo's response to the "Russian propaganda" in the fake video. Evidence? Read the first line in her post!
"My response to the Russian Propagandists: "
Referring to the Russian propaganda in the video falsely claiming "We in Ukraine..."

Naomi Allen wasn't born in Russia but she says she defected to the Russian side and that fake video is her form of Russian propaganda.

Thanks. I checked DeepState map again today and it still shows no advances due west of Raihorodka.
It does show some small advances by both sides a little south of there, near Novoiehorivka, where the net effect is to narrow the gray zone, so it doesn't show either side losing their held territories, but they got closer to each other.

That is very interesting, and yes they are now going to get the specs for the spare parts.

But, Ukraine was already 3-D printing spare parts even without the specs. They probably did the "reverse-engineering" thing, which I used to do for my employer, so my employer could supply cheaper knock-off replacement parts for industrial machines. (OEMs can charge outrageous prices for replacement parts). Now it will be easier to make spare parts with the specs, they can skip the reverse-engineering.

U.S. hands over 3D printers for spare parts printing to Ukraine

He added that after the start of the Russian full-scale invasion, specialists in Ukraine began to independently print parts on 3D printers even without the appropriate permissions, and without technical data packages.

“You know, as they say, when your country is subjected to an existential attack, intellectual property laws matter only a little,” the official said.

“So we brought order with this, along with other countries. Now they (Ukrainians – ed.) have all the technical data packages,” LaPlante said.

Apologies if already discussed-
Is Ramzan Kadyrov dead?

Pro Ukraine Telegram channels are claiming that Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has died in a Moscow hospital after failing to wake up from a coma.

twitter.com...

There has been talk of him being seriously ill for a while and some pictures have shown him looking very puffed up.
Word is he is an opiate addict, although that may also be a rumor.

Not sure how stable Checynya is these days-but If Kadyrov has died it may become less stable, less ass kissy to Putin.
I am guessing most chechens don't rate the guy-for a start he turned his back on the jihad against Putin, and turned into his beeotch, plus the drug addict thing..not very islamic is it?

I saw a video he posted as comment Kadyrov shows him walking a trail and he said in the video

"I strongly advise everyone who cannot distinguish truth from lies on the internet to take a walk in the fresh air and put their thoughts in order"

So judging from his statement he saying it's a lie. or this was prerecorded message though doing that only hurts russian credibility. So why take the risk.
