So now they say Ukraine is likely striking Russian "backed fighters" in Sudan Africa

I would have thought Ukraine has enough to worry about in Ukraine. Then at 3 minutes in the video, they explain that the gold Russia gets though Wagner from Sudan is used to help finance Putin's war against Ukraine, then it started to make more sense why Ukraine would have an interest in shutting off funding to Putin for his war.

It's also interesting that Wagner is apparently not as far gone as I thought it was, since they are still operating in Sudan, even though the Wagner leaders are dead.

21 September Update

Geolocated footage posted on September 21 indicates that Ukrainian armored vehicles advanced south of the Russian anti-tank ditches and dragon’s teeth obstacles that are part of a tri-layered defense and engaged in limited combat immediately west of Verbove (18km southeast of Orikhiv).

Ukrainian forces conducted a series of drone and missile strikes targeting the Russian airfield near occupied Saky, Crimea, and may have damaged Russian aircraft.

Ukrainian sources reported on September 21 that Russian forces launched 44 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles targeting Ukrainian energy, industrial, and civilian infrastructure in Kyiv City, Cherkasy City, and Lviv City.

Russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line, in the western Donetsk-eastern Zaporizhia Oblast border area, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast but did not advance.

Is there anything from the source that you disagree with? Do you have an alternative which you think is more reliable and that you would accept?

Genuine question.

Vladimir Putin had thousands of troops from the nuclear missile forces conduct exercises that showcased the "highest degrees of combat readiness," amplifying concerns World War III could be imminent, according to a new report.

The tactical exercises took place in the Sverdlovsk region and the Daily Star reported they included 3,000 soldiers and deadly Yars thermonuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles on mobile launchers. The Tagil Rocket Division drills were captured on camera by Russian defense ministry TV channel Zvezda.

Is this it? Will this be the official start of WWIII or is Putin just flexing his muscles for everyone?

Daily Star reported.

If that is the only source. then it's as reliable as The Beano or Dandy.

The missile attack on the black sea fleet HQ posted by gortex was followed by a huge cyber attack on Crimea-

Crimea has been struck by an "unprecedented" cyberattack in the wake of a missile strike on the Black Sea fleet headquarters in Sevastopol, according to an official.
"An unprecedented cyberattack on Crimean internet providers," noted Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the Russian governor of the region, on Telegram.

Some of it is psychological targeting of the Russian population in Crimea, as in, "Moscow doesn't call the shots here now ... we do"

22 September Update

Ukrainian forces carried out drone and cruise missile strikes on occupied Crimea and significantly damaged the Russian Black Sea Fleet (BSF) Command headquarters in Sevastopol on September 22.

Ukrainian forces advanced south of Bakhmut and reportedly advanced in western Zaporizhia Oblast on September 22. Geolocated footage published on September 22 indicates that Ukrainian forces advanced southeast of Klishchiivka (7km southwest of Bakhmut).

The US Department of Defense (DoD) announced a new security assistance package on September 21, providing Ukraine with $325 million worth of military equipment.

Russian efforts to intensify divisions between Ukraine and its Central European partners appear to have suffered a setback as Polish Prime Minister Andrzej Duda reiterated the strength of Polish-Ukrainian relations on September 22.

Russian forces conducted offensive operations in the Kupyansk area, near Bakhmut, along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line, and in western Donetsk Oblast and reportedly advanced in the Donetsk-Zaporizhia Oblast administrative border area.

Video from Warthog Defense shows the Russian aircraft destroyed at Belbek air base in Crimea after Thursdays Ukrainian attack , it also contains heavily edited footage released to show Ramzan Kadyrov at a meeting in Russia , subsequently Kadyrov has released a video to show he is in hospital but alive.

The video shows Kadyrov seated next to his uncle’s bed as a discussion ensues with a doctor over Magomed’s condition. But the carefully staged video provoked more questions than answers. Kadyrov’s puffy hand and face indicate his own condition remains fragile amid rumours of a kidney transplant.

In a text post alongside the hospital video, Kadyrov appeared to admit he may have health problems while lambasting the opposition and Ukrainian media for publishing rumours about his condition. "I cheered up my dear uncle, and wished him a speedy recovery," he said.

He continued: "I will also comment on the rumours surrounding my health condition. Praise be to Allah Almighty, I am alive and well and I don't understand why even in the case of my illness there should be a fuss. However, there is an advantage in this. Now the audience knows which media and which persons are blatantly lying to their readers."‌

Russia's official story was that only one casualty resulted from the attack on the headquarters building, but that story was not consistent with the numerous ambulances that were called to the scene. The Russians wouldn't lie about the casualties, would they?

Russia's military has already lost a whole lot of its leaders, and they can promote lower ranks, but that doesn't replace the experience and training of the leaders lost. I suspect they had more than one casualty.

Ukraine and Russia both are figuring out how many missiles they need to send to overwhelm the others air defenses so subsequent missiles can get through. But I think the Russians thought their advanced S-400 air defense systems protected that base in any case, they certainly have a huge supply of air defense missiles from what I've read. Some people are now wondering if maybe the S-400s are not quite the shield that Russia was claiming. In general I've noticed Russian sales of military equipment to other countries are declining, but I'm not sure how much is because they need it themselves and how much is because other countries are not as impressed with Russian weapons now that their performance in real conditions can be observed, it's probably some combination of those factors.

The Ukraine War Accelerates Russia's Decline as a Global Arms Exporter

The need to backfill its own losses in Ukraine, doubts about its weapons' performance, and declining Indian sales have seen Russia's arms exports plummet over the years. And recent signs suggest this trend will only continue.

A few days ago Denys Davydov predicted we'd know more in a few days about Kadyrov, and he was right, now we do. But how do we know his uncle isn't the one who donated the kidney Kadyrov needed for his kidney transplant? I don't know why his uncle is there, but relatives are supposed to make the best donors for genetic similarities reducing rejection complications.

It seems the push is well and truly on before the weather changes as reports of more advances in the South with new strikes happening today in Crimea according to a Russian installed official.

A Russian-installed official says Crimea has again come under attack, a day after the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet on the occupied peninsula was hit by missiles.

Kyiv’s army has broken through Russian lines in southern Ukraine, making progress in the Zaporizhia region, the general leading the offensive there has told the US media.

“On the left flank [near the village of Verbove] we have a breakthrough and we continue to advance further,” General Oleksandr Tarnavskiy told CNN.

He acknowledged the advance had been slower than Ukraine hoped, adding: “Not as fast as it was expected, not like in the movies about the second world war.”

Judging by reports I've seen over the last few weeks it seems Russian troops moral is through the floor , lack of equipment , support , rotation and effective leadership have all taken their toll.
