What is your point?

That your stance is outdated and misogynous.

Read it again:
"Most of the "Civilized" World once thought slavery was acceptable, that an entire group of human beings were "less than human" and considered them to be Property.
Your way of thinking, like Anne's, is outdated and barbaric."

You're of the outdated and barbaric belief that women are second to the potential of their biological output, whose bodies are not their own but are owned by their biology. You believe that once a man has hit his target, the woman's body is not hers, that she's a slave to her biology.

Not interested in your past generations "pass the trash" analogies.

I live today.

Majority of people today support women's right to her own body.

All of your arguments are based on feelz.

I keep forgetting you're an expert on abortion. Jeffrey Dahmer is an expert on murder as well, still i don't think even he would take the moral high ground in a debate.

Here's another medal for your brave actions. Well done.

And your expert experience is what exactly?

Your knowledge of having an abortion is what?

You read something?

How can anyone claim to be an abortion expert?

I'd rather not have that characterisation to be fair, you can keep it.

Well done, again, here's another medal for all your hard work.

"Expert" is your word.

Experience and knowledge of (because I actually had the experience and knowledge of) are my words.

Yeah, you got me there. Comparing a tooth extraction to an abortion.

The title of this thread is: "Abortions - Why so bad?". From a UK poster who doesn't understand what the big deal is in America.

Nothing about the morality of abortion. That is coming from you.

Your first response to the OP is "it's murder". No, actually it's not. Murder is an illegal act. Abortion is not.

As I said, it has to be all about you, your feelz, your experience.
I have told you my experience, in another thread, and you brushed it off as insignificant and not real.
Your top priority is the freedom to kill another human being. That is all you seem to care about.

Should men have a choice and say in the matter? If a women was to decide to have the baby, can I as a male choose not to support a child I may not want?

Should men have a choice and say in the matter? If a women was to decide to have the baby, can I as a male choose not to support a child I may not want?

I've answered this before.

For eons woman has taken all the blame, pain, accusations -- related to childbearing. Including birthing the wrong sex/gender, birth defects, etc. Men were never at fault. Men were never sterile.

If the man did not honor the woman -- it was the woman's fault for not choosing the right man.

So, today -- if a woman chooses to abort without consideration of the man -- you picked the wrong woman.

There have been women who carried to term and signed the baby over to the father. He picked the right woman.

As far as not supporting a child -- that is about the child. You made it -- you pay for it.

-------------------------------------------------------

I've researched male contraceptives. They're getting closer.

The biggest problem is men refusing to use any form of contraception. Condoms are still the #1 successful male contraception.

But many men refuse to use them.

Therefore, birth control falls onto the woman mostly.

Both man and woman should protect themselves from an unwanted pregnancy.

When man says to a woman: "Are you on the pill?" -- that's dumping all responsibility on the woman -- again. It does not mean the man can go free of a contraceptive.

He/She need to make sure both are using a contraceptive.

It is interesting how the majority of the responsibility of childbirth lies on the shoulders of the woman, but she obviously is "too emotional" to make decisions based on her general health, wellbeing, or the general health of wellbeing of an embryo or deformed fetus.

I think a lot of this comes from the Fantasy Notion most men have of women fitting a certain "mold" of being warm, loving, affectionate, submissive caregivers. If you don't fit the accepted expectation, you're a cold, heartless baby murderer.

So its your choice and your choice alone? "The biggest problem is men refusing to use any form of contraception". That's the biggest load of BS, women have more contraceptive options than men do but you think men are the biggest problem? Why are woman refusing to use contraception? Why are you putting it on the man?
The hypocrisy in your arguments is as usual off the charts.

As far as men or woman choosing the right woman or man, well....news flash not all sexual relationships are about choosing a life partner in the heat of the moment.

For eons woman has taken all the blame, pain, accusations -- related to childbearing. Including birthing the wrong sex/gender

I've never in my life heard a guy blame a woman for giving birth to the wrong gender, ever, not saying it hasn't happened, just saying that's something I've never heard. Maybe that's an exclusive to you or I just don't get out much IDK.
