Did the Russia-Ukraine conflict suddenly end?
No.
"Conflict?" I thought it was a special operation.
Secretary of State Blinken announced during his visit to Ukraine today, the U.S. is reopening its Ukraine embassy.
The U.S. says it's also training Ukrainians on how to use the weapons and giving $300 million more in foreign military financing so that Ukraine has more flexibility and can buy what it needs from other countries.

I've been watching there is not alot to stop Ukraine from taking Crimea troop wise their threat is the black sea fleet. They are still a huge threat to anyone trying to get into Crimea.
Ukraine if successful will have the land bridge and then it is easy push if they can get that far. I think the Black sea fleet is a little worried about what happened with the Moskva. It was pretty ingenious they launched the missiles with out active guidance system on and then directed them with airborne radar. Moskva really didn't have a chance.

Russia sends note to US demanding stop arms supplies to Ukraine - ambassador to US
Key Takeaways
* Russian forces continued to pressure Ukrainian defenders in the Azovstal facility in Mariupol.
* Ukrainian sources report that Russian troops are preparing to conduct renewed assaults on Azovstal that would likely prove costly—possibly to meet a Kremlin-imposed deadline to clear Mariupol—but ISW cannot independently confirm these reports.
* Russian forces secured limited gains northwest of Severodonetsk but remain unlikely to be able to launch massed offensive operations.
* Additional Russian forces are deploying to reinforce unsuccessful attacks on the Izyum front.
* Ukrainian civilians in occupied Kharkiv Oblast are reportedly organizing volunteer movements to resist Russian occupation measures, similar to previously documented actions in southern Ukraine.

The difference is that this conflict is on Russias border. Weapons and munitions supplied by the West can be used to target Russia directy. Vietnam and Korea were not on the USA's border. If they had been the US would have declared war on Russia.

I didn't know Korea was on the US border. I thought it was Canada or Mexico.
