The Ukrainian military claimed on Saturday that it destroyed a Russian command post in the southern region of Kherson, which has been largely under Russian control since the early days of the war.
The intelligence agency of the Ukrainian defense ministry said in a statement that the Russian command center was located near a location of active clashes between the two forces and two high-ranking Russian officers were present at the time of the strike.
The claim could not be independently verified and there was no immediate comment from Russia’s military, which rarely acknowledges battlefield setbacks.
In a separate statement, Oleksiy Arestovych, a former Ukrainian military intelligence officer who is now an adviser to the Ukrainian president’s office, said that about 50 senior Russian officers were in the command center at the time of the attack.

Eight years ago, a trio of Ukrainian army brigades fighting Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region made a fatal mistake. They idled their tanks and trucks around a static command post.
Russian drones and eavesdroppers pinpointed the command post and blasted it with artillery.
Today it’s the Russians who are making that same mistake—and the Ukrainians who are exploiting the error. In the two months since Russia widened its war on Ukraine, Kyiv’s forces have located and destroyed no fewer than 31 Russian command and communications posts.

When Russian troops first streamed across the Belarusian border into Ukraine for what they had assumed would be a lightning assault on Kyiv, they were intending to rely on the region’s extensive rail network for supplies and reinforcements.
The Russians hadn’t taken into account the railway saboteurs of Belarus.
Starting in the earliest days of the invasion in February, a clandestine network of railway workers, hackers and dissident security forces went into action to disable or disrupt the railway links connecting Russia to Ukraine through Belarus, wreaking havoc on Russian supply lines.

Turkey has closed its airspace to Russian civilian and military planes flying to Syria, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has been quoted as saying by local media.
“We closed the airspace to Russia’s military planes – and even civilian ones – flying to Syria. They had until April, and we asked in March,” Turkish media quoted Cavusoglu as saying on Saturday.
Cavusoglu said he conveyed the decision to his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, who then relayed it to President Vladimir Putin.
“One or two days later, they said: Putin has issued an order, we will not fly any more,” Cavusoglu was quoted as telling Turkish reporters on board his plane to Uruguay.
Cavusoglu added that the ban would stay in place for three months.
There was no immediate response to Turkey’s announcement from Russia, which together with Iran has been a crucial supporter of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during the war in the country.

Russia is paying people to put out false information with fake interviews
Mariupol there is still fighting
Russia lost 2 generals and upwards of 50 officers at their command post in Kherson, Ukrainian forces in the North pushed Russian forces back across the border and the Russian advance along the line of control is stalled.

"Ukraine has repelled numerous Russian assaults along the line of contact" in the country's eastern Donbas region this week, the UK's Defence Intelligence (DI) says in its latest report.
"Despite Russia making some territorial gains, Ukrainian resistance has been strong across all axes and inflicted significant cost on Russian forces. "Poor Russian morale and limited time to reconstitute, re-equip and reorganise forces from prior offensives are likely hindering Russian combat effectiveness," DI says. Part of the UK's ministry of defence, DI focuses on gathering and analysing military intelligence

I would rather believe The BBC ( M.O.D. ) than your make believe analysis.
Good for a laugh though.

of Ukrainian POWs is staggering, the tipping point has passed, and no way can Ukrainian forces sustain the losses.
Russia will undoubtedly consolidate the Donbass, there are rumours circulating of another Ukrainian false flag using chemical weapons (similar to the White Helmets attempt in Syria) however, either way what happens beyond this is unknown, but it is most certainly game over for the Ukrainian forces

If the numbers are only half of what is claimed there, it is still a shocking failure on the part of Russia's military.
What I'd like to see is authoritative loss figures for both sides.
Cheers

The long war drains resources, cash, and the will of the Russian people to even care about southern Ukraine. Russia can have its victory. It'll be short-lived and costly.

I can even see Crimea going back to Ukraine.
