All I am stating is that statistically the leadership of Ukraine post 2014 looks to have been fixed.

People have been commenting on those sort of statistics about Jews for a long time now....it doesn't normally end very well for Jews.

I don't know why Jews tend to be statistically more prominent and successful than they may be expected given their numbers.
I think we all have one of two theories....but I certainly have no intention of elaborating here, it'll only derail the thread....and probably descend into some sort of bitch fest.

Neo Nazis are something totally different stemming from a strand of right wing society leaning back historically to its pro Nazi past. Nothing to do with the business management in Ukraine who run the government.

If that's the case why are so many people - Putin and his apostles and apologists etc - so keen to label them Nazi's or Neo-Nazi's?

As are the leaders in most governments in one form or another....including Putin who has benefited enormously from the oligarchs and gangsters in Russia.

Total respect to you FB you always come across a well learned person balanced too.

When it comes to the statistics on leadership within Ukraine it just so happens that many of the mafia that emerged post Soviet Union were of Jewish descent. You obviously know of this in regard to Russia.

This is also the case with Ukraine.

What better way to cement your control of the Ukranian economy than put your own into governmental power. I haven't got the research ability to list the oligarchy right now as was on the road at 5 this morning on deliveries and totally whacked, but when the USSR fell apart in 1990's a certain group took a large percentage of the Ukranian economy under their control through questionable means that possibly did nothing for the average man in the street but favored a very small group who became the oligarchy.

Ukraine is, like Russia, plagued with corruption. However, in the last few year's corruption is reducing. The 2013 Euromaiden protests were motivated to challenge political corruption. The pro Russian politicians were swept away and here we are. The Russians are back with their jack boots on.

You may want to move away from the Jewish angle, as it's not supported by fact. Ukrainian Jews were persecuted by the Nazis and the Soviets.

There has been activity since but everyone following thinks the stuff being posted is out of character and way off. His kids can't get ahold of him and the one time the phone was answered the person spoke Ukrainian and hung up. He hasn't done any live feeds.

Another step in supplying military equipment to Ukraine that doesn't have Soviet origins occurs. The supply of shells to the modest amount of artillery is another matter to consider. But the underlying issue of Ukraine receiving a tiny fraction of the military aid required to destroy the Russian invaders remains the elephant in the room.

The greatest Russian threat at this point appears to be their firepower. Ukraine will need either a lot of long-ranged artillery pieces or more air power to suppress Russian fires.

Specifically, I don't doubt that the Ukrainians currently or will excel at counter-battery fire or employing tactical air support against Russian artillery positions. However, I feel that shortages of ammunition are likely the most significant limitation on Ukrainian Army's efforts in that matter.

Moreover, the Ukrainian Air Force might struggle to replace pilots killed in action, but that is a medium-term issue, with the supply of aircraft and related spare parts being their most urgent requirements.
