yeh I watched that guys post earlier

the thing is though arent we all brainwashed to varying degrees?
its not a conspiracy , we are controlled in a lot of ways in how we live. in the UK we have state media
in other countries corporate media linked to state representatives. We have social media controls , algorithms that control how we see info. Its the same # just on a different side
Then we have places like China and the DPRK who are open about their brainwashing.
Then we have Russia and the US in the 80;s spending millions of taxpayers money on actual brainwashing research
MK Ultra and then leading into things remote viewing.

Then we have the ultimate brainwashing "patriotism"
it gets everyone that one
trust me I know I am a proud Scotsman

True but in your country, as well as mine, we have the ability to seek out information that might not agree with the state media. Russia on the other hand doesnt get that choice, unless people want to spend a few decades in prison.

The rally around the flag issue is occurring in Russia right now. The latest poll shows Putins support is like around 86%... We had the same thing occur in the US in the aftermath of 9/11.

I love my country.. my government, on the other hand, not so much.

Yep. How long did it take before the ULTRA secret was widely known? Decades, and it was a HUGE factor in the war in Europe.

There are widespread reports that the Czech government has at least begun moving T-72 tanks and BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles out of storage for transfer to Ukraine. This follows reports over the weekend that the U.S. government would help facilitate the delivery of T-72 tanks from an unspecified NATO member to the Ukrainian armed forces.

That was some pretty good Ukrainian gunnery, but clearly Ukraine needs more Javelins so they don't have to put a tank crew at risk to destroy a russian convoy.

This might even have been a captured Russian tank.
Ukraine now has more tanks than they started the war with from tanks abandoned by their crews when they got stuck to tanks that were mildly hit that lost tracks and the Ukrainians have repaired with tracks and parts from javelin anti tank missiles hit tanks.
The Ukrainians like the US switchblade drones as they don't destroy the tanks but damage them bad enough that the crews run and the Ukrainians then repair them and use them to attack the Russians.

it's a really bad idea to invade a country that uses the same equipment that you do.

Good point, there isn't anything repairable about a Javelin hit tank other than as a few spare parts.

The turret goes flying, known as being 'suddenly turretless', and the main body of the vehicle is badly deformed.

Russian tank designers failed to compartmentalise ammo from the vehicle in the Cold War. So, as a result, the tanks and their crews lack protection in combat situations.

Concerning the common usage of equipment between Russian and Ukrainian forces:

The Ukrainian Army and Air Force's understanding of combined arms, Mission Command, logistics and maintenance, ensure they utilise their military platforms far better than the Russians. One of the reasons I wish to learn about the clashes between India and Pakistan in the late 40s is that both sides were identically equipped.

Also, the Russians probably omitted tank and other vehicle repairs/maintenance facilities from their force structure. Alternatively, their neglect of rear area security left stationary targets open to attack.

I wonder if policy debates in the Biden admin affect U.S. military aid to Ukraine? Are elements of Biden's cabinet attempting to implement the policy of gradual escalation toward Russia? If so, the concept will fail as it did concerning the Vietnam War. However, supplies take the place of direct U.S. military involvement. Moreover, Ukraine missed out on Polish Migs for a doomed approach to the war in Ukraine.

As a reminder -

Just so people know and understand. Information from war zones can become confusing as there will no doubt be info released from the players (on both sides) involved that might not necessarily be true.

As such take everything as a possibility and NOT as absolute truth.

Ironic that UK is playing such a leading role in assistance to Ukraine. One must recall that Germany is so thoroughly penetrated by Russian influence as to be practically useless and France, well, France has fully 10% of its own army on internal security duties. Distractions, distractions.

Good luck on the reading of re: Indo-Pak wars. I'm interested in the 1965 war, but find it difficult to extract much of value from the peacock prose both sides use in their military history works.

He discusses some of that in a little detail in one of his earlier videos, perhaps Random recalls which one.
