In a twist of historical irony, like Germany during Operation Barbarossa, the Russians lack the logistical capabilities to supply their ground forces with winter clothing and equipment. As a side note, I am disappointed by New Zealand's failure to dispatch specialised winter apparel to Ukraine. An opportunity to assist Ukraine at a modest cost is going unheeded.

That I agree, Putin made bad decisions, it does not mean Russia does not have cababilities left.
Around 20 - 30 thoulsand troops have been killed, putin still has around 100.000 troops plus at least an equal number of separatists.
Like what? What hidden capabilities does Russia have tucked away, waiting to pounce, like a hamster in a pipe? I guess nuclear and chemical/bio are off the cards (we hope).
How many decently trained front-line troops has Russia got left? How many experienced tankers to replace the very many who have been incinerated? How many tanks has Russia got left to replace the large numbers lost? It's a foolish calculation to count numbers. For every soldier killed, four are wounded. How many wounded will return to the fight?
As we speak, Ukrainian nationals are training in the UK. They will return to Ukraine with new methods and a real edge when facing ill-equipped and demoralised Russians and their lackeys - civilians dressed as soldiers.
This is a shocking war, that has been started by Russia. Russia will either be bled into defeat, or be forced to sue for peace and leave Ukraine.

Please explain then why Ukraine's Air Force is still operating?
Why has Russia not been able to establish complete air superiority?
As for "propaganda", you must be having a laugh?

Excuses, excuses.
Not "commando like" at all.
Far from it.
Russian military strategy is based on heavy shelling with artillery. Mostly of civilian targets.
Ukraine's tactics are now based on being far more mobile in their maneuvers.
And they are making rapid advances.

You are making less and less sense.
I'm afraid that the writing is on the wall for Putin and his badly planned and consequently disastrous war.

Well, who is going to tell a murderous Dictator that he's got no clue?

"I'm sorry but I'm with Russia on this one, ...."
Yes, I had noticed.
Not so much with Russia but with the people of Don, because these people deserve better maybe away from Zelinsky.

I don't disagree with that, Putin made lots of mistakes, but it's not too late to change course and "let them have it"

This normally trusted source with a high level of historical accuracy and known for having very good russian sources, is claiming that russia is in the process of rapidly abandoning Kupiansk and predicts that Ukrainian forces will take the entire city within 24 hours.
He further claims that russia is bringing large numbers of airborne forces from deep inside russia to set up new defensive lines east of Kupiansk.
youtu.be...
No idea if true, his report of this surprised me.
