No, that would provoke a third world war same as any no-fly-zone.

Exaclty.

We can however arm Ukraine to the teeth and watch Russia die slowly.

We have been, for the better part of a decade. How slow is this death supposed to be as from where I'm sitting, russia is still on the offensive. Also detaching from the west into the loving arms of the CCP.

How can you not see that everything done by the west has been to push war and not for diplomacy? All in exchange for innocent lives.

As to soapbox well you pick a side and I'm old enough to remember that last cold war bullcrap, so i know where i stand plain as day and same as last time ta very much.

I've stated my "side." it's the side of pointing out my own governments actions to bring Ukraine to this point. This isn't the cold war by any stretch.

So "you" cant imagine that.

My choice is to ignore you if you cant provide tangible actual proof and facts to support your ludicrous claims.

Last orders now son, so needs must and all that jazz, if only for a little while.

Deny whatever you wish Grimpachi, you will still be you in the morning.

The west had to push back at some point. Honestly I think this war would have been avoided if the west had been tougher much earlier. Through our compliance we have fed into Putin's delusions of grandeur, and now Ukraine and Russia are paying for it, and to a lesser extent the whole world.

Nobody has been 'arming Ukraine to the teeth for decades', that's just absurd russian propaganda.

Nobody but putin 'brought Ukraine to this point'.

No other reason.

Because like I said, we're too soft. And of course literally using all of our might would be very risky, could lead to nuclear war.

Great, so we agree. "Could" being an understatement IMO. For how long has this statement been understood? Months? Years? Decades?

So, with this great agreement we've recognized, what to do? As the cool kids say, russia is gonna russia. We, the west and NATO, will certainly not give in to demands of the kremlin, nor will they in return.

Im no expert but for starters, I certainly wouldn't arm nazis. Nor taliban, alquida, isis etc etc.

I tried the smoke signals and reading of the stars JinMI, but it just was not doing it for me.

Where do you suggest we glean our information regrading the topic?
