Jeff Bezos has quite the system rigged up making donations to Obama's Foundation.
He isn't known as being very philanthropic when compared with his ex Mackenzie Scott so I wondered what his angle would be because he doesn't part with it easily as Amazon workers know.

He donates stock directly to the Obama Foundation.
"Donate stock directly to the charity, there is no capital gains tax to pay. Plus you are still eligible to deduct the full market value of the asset you donated from your income taxes, up to the amount allowed by the IRS."

Then the Obama Foundation can sell them and not pay capital gains either.

8 days ago Bezzos awarded almost $100 million to a non profit. There is no disclosure as to which non profit it went to. Maybe his own like the Earth Fund non profit he set up which then can be directed to the Obama Foundation. The irony as he launches himself in a rocket and operates an Earth Fund.
