Another thing we didn’t think about is Russia is the worlds number one exporter of copper and Aluminum in the world.

ustr.gov...

The top import categories (2-digit HS) in 2019 were: mineral fuels ($13 billion), precious metal and stone (platinum) ($2.2 billion), iron and steel ($1.4 billion), fertilizers ($963 million), and inorganic chemicals ($763 million).

I read that we depend highly on fertilizer from Russia as well. That isn’t good for all the crops we grow if that gets cut off.

It’s already $6.63 cents a gallon in downtown L.A.
Won’t take much to get it higher.

Already has.

Putin threatened "severe consequences unlike any ever seen" if countries "interfere" in the conflict with Ukraine and Russia.

French PM, I think it was, said something along the lines of Mr. Putin forgets that NATO has nuclear weapons too.

We have plenty of everything.

It'll just cost more for a while.

Silly russians.

Hardly....Lots of other factors at play. We will find out pretty quick I think. NATO sure as hell is not trying to de-escalate the situation. Quite the opposite. Russia has been prepping for this a long time and I dont see them backing down.

This will most likely be our Cuban Missle Crisis.

I dont think you are getting it. You yourself dont really matter and are not that important. Neither am I. No individual civilian is.

Germany going to start sending weapons as well now.

Germany is violating it's own constitution by sending the weapons requested by Zelinsky that biden refused.

Barely.

American Made Javelins, previously purchased by Germany, loaded on American planes, at an American base, by German soldiers.

Then dropped into Ukraine along with what little biden did allow the U.S. to send, by Americans Air Crews.

Frog paint and all.

Germans:

"What?

We just gave them back to to the U.S.

Even loaded them on American planes.

We don't have any idea what the Americans did with all those Javelins"

Hilarious.

Someone is irrelevant.

Take the blinders off.

NATO is doing an absolutely AMAZING at preventing escalation.

FAR better than anyone ever thought possible.

Nukes are entirely up to putin.

Same as always.

russians better hope he chooses wisely.

We buy $750 Million dollars of Ammonia Nitrate fertilizer from Russia. They control 48% of the market. Good luck planting corn later this year.

I don’t think most Americans are prepared to eat one meal a day or start intermittent fasting. If we can’t get our door dash fat ass fast food 3 times a day delivered to our door then there will be mass chaos

The russians have failed to take even 1 major Ukraine city. They have not been meeting their day goals, which im sure is pissing putin off. They now had to commit over 55% of there units surrounding Ukraine to offensive action (up from 30%).

We have FAR more Fertilizer here than we need.

And we can handle the extra cost for a while without breaking a sweat.

Have you seen what our own president did to us this year?

Yiu russians are gonna have a hard time hurting our economy any more than he did.

Do your worst.

Won't even tickle.

I wonder if Germany will finally allow Lithuania to deliver the ex-East German army 122-mm howitzers to Ukraine now.

Their wake-up has been painfully slow at the cost of Ukrainian lives.

I hear Putin is not happy with the Russian military. What was expected as a walk in the park turned into Russia grabbing a badger named Ukraine.

Cheers
