I checked out the video and compared it to others we use and ISW

This guy is either less informed or a russian propaganda shill, not sure which.

Compare what he said about the Kherson region to the other sources, seems he forgot about the massive russian retreat, the 3 town Ukrainians took today, as a result of that retreat, and extremely important supply route that Ukraine now controls.

Focusing instead on highlighting all the russian forces now dug into new positions after the retreat, where there isn't even any action yet.

I'm no missile expert but it looks to me like the green paint is for camoflage prior to launching the missile, so it really wouldn't matter if the green paint survived the flight or not, if it's there to help hide the missile before launch. It's likely green for the same reason the truck carrying it is green, to blend in a little better with green terrain:

The undamaged condition of the missile and lack of impact evidence seems odd, but not impossible. There are reports of 60% failure rates of Russian missiles, so depending on the failure mode the failed hypersonic missiles may not reach hypersonic velocities, which could allow the paint to remain intact, but I really have no idea how it got there in that condition or if it's disinfo.

That makes a lot more sense, I didn't realize they had deployed truck mounted versions, all the reports I've seen out of Ukraine were air launched.

Still looks more like an older iskander to me though.





ETA - I just looked it up, there are no truck launched versions of the dagger, it must be launched at supersonic speeds, I revert back to my original opinion that the photo does not show a dagger.

Reports and video coming out of 2 more downed Mi-8s helos. It appears as if a group of 4 Mi-8 and 1 Mi-24 were attempting to rescue the commanders of the Azov Battalion and a unit of the 73rd Marine Center of the special forces of Ukraine along with its commander.

3 helocopers made it out however 2 Mi-8s were shot down. 1 which was hit and went evasive out over the sea went down it sea the other over land. At is said 2 people survived which is how the information of the other 3 helocopters got out. It is also alleged that the azov deputy commander was among those who died in the downed Mi-8

They were carrying wounded out, the same helicopters have been making the same trip twice a day for weeks.

Because russia destroyed all the hospitals in Mariupol long ago.




You left out the best (worst part), the russians claim that the two helicopters were shot down by captured Stingers, which is why they were finally able to hit one of these twice a day flights.

russian weapons have proven incapable of doing so.

The first reports were a long time ago and you or who ever you got it from spun it into dishonest propaganda based on a real event.

I do know that their are azov commanders there from multiple reports along with units of the 73rd marine SF. So is it a stretch that they would not want to lose the leaders of units they value a lot? Yup. I posted earlier some catboxed photos of the dead deputy commander of Azov.

They had tried to evacuate 2 or 3 days prior but those were shot down as well.

It is absolutely hilarious how some are trying to say it was for the wounded. No, they were trying to evacuate and after seeing a video of UAF using civilian ambulances to run ops they have lost all credibility with such claims.

Russian sources also confirm these helicopters were shot down with captured MANPADS. The way they have been leaving them behind as they retreat it is a kind of Karma. Almost everyday there are posts of captured caches of them.

Even the russians have said these were daily flights and they've never been able to shoot one down before.

Daily flights to evacuate the seriously wounded.

It made news because they've never been able to shoot one down before capturing a couple Stingers.
