Russian forces estimated below 90% combat capability for first time
"Let me remind that is a that is of the combat power that they assembled in Belarus, and in the western part of their country prior to the invasion, it is not an assessment of all Russian military power," the official said. "But we assessed it for the first time they may be just a little bit below 90% on that. And no indications, no tangible indications of reinforcements being brought in from elsewhere in the country, no tangible indications of foreign fighters that have flown into the country ... no indications that they've moved in foreign fighters from Syria or elsewhere.
"And on resupply, again, no tangible indications that they are making an effort to resupply from outside the theater there that they're pulling in from elsewhere around the around Russia. But we do continue to see indications that they are having these discussions and that they are making those kinds of plans."
Key Takeaways

* Ukrainian forces conducted successful localized counterattacks northwest of Kyiv.
* Russian forces in northeastern Ukraine did not conduct any offensive operations in the past 24 hours.
* Ukrainian forces repelled several Russian assaults in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in the past 24 hours.
* Russian forces continue to make slow but steady progress reducing the Mariupol pocket.
* Russia may have failed to appoint an overall commander for its invasion of Ukraine, leading to Russian axes of advance competing for limited supplies and failing to synchronize their operations.

Remarkable BBCWorld report: farmers in Vosnesensk ambushed Russian forces as they approached the small community, halting their advance by blowing up the bridge, destroying all Russian tanks vehicles, inflicting heavy Russian losses and full retreat.
Farmers kicking ass; Ukraine taking back a key suburb of Kyiv; Russia pulling helicopters from a strategic airport in Kherson; Russian combat power dipping below 90% due to logistics, command and control issues and morale problems...

The French carmaker Renault has resumed manufacturing in its plants in Moscow, bucking the trend of many other large global companies that have cut ties with Russia over its war on Ukraine.
Renault had suspended production at the plant last month, citing logistical problems after the invasion of Ukraine on Vladimir Putin’s orders. However, Renault’s decision to restart manufacturing has the backing of the French government, which is its main shareholder, according to sources cited by Reuters.

From a very reliable source in Ukraine: Russian forces had to retreat their advances while attempting to enter a small suburb on the outskirts of Kyiv, after a small pack of stray dogs and feral cats united together to take the Russian forces by surprise. According to eyewitnesses the Russians suffered many fatalities during the ambush, as well as many of their tanks being completely destroyed.
Wow just incredible...

Before March 11, Shoigu appeared in public every few days. Sources told wwwagentsmedia that he’s having heart problems. Valery Gerasimov, the head of Russia’s General Staff, is also missing from the public eye.
The first Russian soldier fulfilled all the conditions and came to hand over the tank of the Russian army. For which he will receive $ 10,000 and comfortable living conditions. After the war, he can apply for Ukrainian citizenship. In the photo, special forces check it.

I suppose the question now is, with the war moving into a stalemate period, will Moscow try to hold onto what it has seized in Ukraine given the logistics and morale problems, or will Putin direct usage of weapons of mass destruction in an attempt to cow Ukraine into surrendering?
In the center of Moscow, somebody threw a Molotov cocktail into the Kremlin wall.
Russia’s main YouTube “alternative,” RuTube, is waiving its pre-moderation delay on all uploads … if you verify your identity with your passport. In other words, you can post vids “without censorship” if you agree to risk 15 years in prison. A sick joke.
A pro-Putin commentator has been paid ~2000 euro by the Italian public broadcaster RAI for each media appearance. These are taxpayers money, and many Italian citizens are rightfully outraged. When Italian TV invites Ukrainians to speak on air, they are of course paid nothing
6 dead Russians exchanged for 2 living Ukrainians.
A court in Moscow has fined a woman named Ekaterina Vorobyova 50,000 rubles ($480) for walking around with a backpack with the word “peace” written beneath the crossed-out word “war.” No mention of Ukraine, but this somehow “discredits” Russia’s military.
Russia uses Stalin's methods of war - barrier troops that shoot at their own soldiers so that they do not retreat - Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense.
Since March 11th out of public eye; for TWELVE DAYS OF WAR the head of the Ministry of Defense of Russia is nowhere to be seen.
