azov battalion is preventing those civilians from leaving. they get killed if they try to escape.

They are currently in Kyiv defending the capital so no they are not preventing anyone from leaving again Russian propaganda.

sidenote, have you seen azov battalion, or ukrainian army for that matter, delivering medical care to ukrainian civilians? i saw russians do it. call it a propaganda move, but they do seem to help the civilians instead of murdering them. ukrainian forces give civilians guns instead, or tell them to make molotovs.

I Think thats the line they are told to say if captured-maybe they get told "if you don't say this the Ukrainians will torture you."
It sounded feasible the first one or two times,but they all say the same,and lets be honest most russians with a cell phone or teenage level computer knowledge would at least have had the ability to look at foriegn web sites.

Also the mass protests in Russian cities prove people are checking out non putin sources.
Plus,we have documents and maps captured from Russian commanders,making it clear its a total invasion of the whole country-Did only the commanders know about the objectives?
Its possible I suppose,but its a stretch IMO.

And those cops that got interviewed,again the same story-But those guys were from OMON police-and they behaved worse than animals during the Chechen war,so I am not going to believe their sob story sorry.

Bonus Funny fact about OMON-Due to the cyrillic alphabet it looks like it says "OMOH" on their riot vests-but If you were to take a pic on your phone and flip the image..I bet they wouldn't like that.

2.6% of Ukraine population voted Nazi in last election and it might seem a tiny amount yet knock off the Ruskies, Poles, Slovenes etc you get around 5% of the Ukrainians. So 1 in 20 are actually Nazis. That's pretty amazing.

I listened to a Scouser on the radio last week who'd married a Ukrainian girl of the Ruskie side, he said Nazis were beating Russian speakers up for just speaking their language for the past 8 years. Crazy stuff.

I get the sense that the closest you may have ever come to serving in the armed forces is the GI Joe you had when you were 3.

These are not detachment personnel, they are civilians protecting their home. They shouldnt have to, nor do they likely have any clue what a BM21 Grad MLRS is.....

Details about their alligiance, and nazi sympathies, even in the regular army.
