Correct and the Head of NATO is discussing upgrading non NATO countries who expressed a desire to join, like Georgia and Bosnia, military's.

The military items would be older western designs (as an example US F-16's) but better than their current setups.

Germany says Ukraine is NOT going to be allowed to join the NATO group of nations.

No wonder President Zelensky is so angry tonight. The world is essentially telling him "You're on your own with fighting off Russia".

Oh well... I guess sacrificing a few thousand, to save 100 million or more lives, is logical. (The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few)

The world isnt saying that.

NATO, a defensive only alliance, is saying discussing membership of a country currently at war is off the table because that would be NATO violating its own articles and requirements of membership, declaring an offensive war on the aggressor.

Regardless of which side people take, it actually is logical if you know what NATO is.

Is russia planning to stop with Ukraine?


Bosnia seems a little worried that the russian bully isn't done with the russian invasions yet.

Seems pretty unlikely (impossible, russia already lost in Ukraine), but I can understand why folks in the neighborhood with a history of russian invasions might be a little concerned.

No, you stop and READ what is being said. Countries, like Georgia and Bosnia, have expressed interest in joining NATO. As such the head of NATO is saying that the countries that wish to join could possibly get their military's upgrades by NATO giving / selling them western equipment (older but still better than their counterparts). That way if Russia decides they want to take more sovereign nations (Rebuilding the USSR or Russian Empire), like Georgia (where Russia already illegally annexed 2 provinces - like they did in Ukraine), there military will be able to put up a fight.

Should Serbia host Russian forces / annexes Serbia or wants to work with Serbia to annex places like Kosovo or Bosnia, Bosnia would be able to better defend themselves.

You up to speed or do I need to explain it to you again.

This has NOTHING to do with Russia invading Ukraine except the possibility of Russia invading Georgia (again/continuing their invasion from early 2000's) or invading Bosnia.

Nato top guy says Russia is guilty of war crimes (cluster bombs), EU considering a fast track membership for Ukraine.

Starting to feel like the powers that be are trying to lay the ground work for enthusiastic support for a ground war in Ukraine by the rest of europe.

Serbia doesn’t want war in Bosnia. I know a lot people in Bosnia both Muslim and Christian. General consensus is from everyone they don’t want another war.

Russia never took over Serbia. And Yugoslavia was never part of USSR.

So, thinking here is Putin and Russia will go there next and claim Serbia as part of them? Serbia isn’t Belarus.

Doesnt work that way so try again. The only way you get NATO forces is if you are A - a NATO member and B - You request additional NATO forces to your country (Like Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia), and there is an actual need (hence the reason for article 4). Absent that its the nations military's job to defend itself.

Example:
If Russia attacks Poland. Poland invoke Article 5. All that does is calls for an immediate meeting of NATO and all NATO country ambassadors at which point all members will:
*- vote to either -
A - accept article 5 invocation, at which point in this example Russia's attack on Poland is considered an attack on all NATO members, and NATO article 5 also invoke UN article 51.
B - If one member votes no then its over and Poland is left to deal with Russia on its own without NATO help.
C - A member can obtain from voting allowing a vote for article 5 to pass without the abstaining country/countries assistance but they get help from all other NATO members.

Doesnt work that way so try again.
