Not that it matters much...But I believe that Zelensky made a strategic mistake with Putin; when he said last week to the world (maybe not his exact words), that he still wished he had nuclear weapons --- Like Ukraine had before the Soviet Republic break-up.
Now, Putin is using that Zelensky statement...as one of his reasons for invading Ukraine.

Oooops, someone is scared
“I think that everyone should think about normalizing relations and cooperating normally,” he said.
He said Russia saw no need to aggravate tensions with other countries, claiming that Moscow’s actions in Ukraine only came “in response to unfriendly actions toward Russia.”
I think Putin just "blinked"
"Keep talking. Ukraine needs to be heard. Only you can tell the truth to the world. Do not be silent!" - Ukraine.

Reports that Maria Baronova, editor-in-chief at RT's Russian language edition, has resigned in protest over the invasion of Ukraine.
Our granddads didn’t fight for this. And now they’ve been betrayed.
Cheers

The real big eye opener in this conflict is the damage man portable devices can have . What’s a T92 or even newer T14. Cost ? 35-65 million dollars a unit and it’s wiped out by some guy chewing a cheroot with a 50k missile ? It’s a big game changer , the hardware suppliers will be changing specs as we speak , tank orders will be getting cancelled . As with the First World War when the generals wanted fixed piece battles but the other side dug in , we are now seeing the next Evoloution

More people killed every year with .22lr than any other round . People think it’s cap gun stuff , it ain’t . I’ve certainly shot through 2x2 using .22lr .
5.56 the standard nato round is basically the same bore as .22 just a shed load more propellant to enable the rifle to cycle

“There is no need to escalate the situation, impose restrictions. We fulfill all obligations,” he said. “If someone does not want to cooperate with us within the framework of single cooperation, and by doing so harms themselves, they will, of course, harm us, too.”
A crack team of SAS veterans is joining Ukraine’s bloody fight against the Russian invasion, the Daily Mirror can reveal. Retired UK special forces soldiers have volunteered for missions deep inside Ukraine to back up the country's defence. It is believed ex-Paratroopers may at some point join the special forces teams in Ukraine, along with other UK military specialists.
The veterans, aged between 40 and 60, have had meetings to discuss signing up for the dangerous mission, backing up Ukrainians in combat. Key to their operation is among them there are highly-trained snipers and experts in the use of anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles
Snipers will also help in taking out Russian forward air spotters and Moscow’s special forces who are guiding in airstrikes on troops and local communities.
It is believed the operation is not being paid for by the British government but will be funded by a country in Europe, still to be named, via a private military company.
