Heartbreaking. Putin did this.

I hope Putin's intent was on being remembered / reviled as the new Hitler....mission accomplished if so.

I'm hoping you see where I'm coming at. And maybe...just maybe, you'll come around in the support of the U.S. Democratic Party, that supports democracy and freedom around the free world and beyond.

Damn, I wish I wasn't drinking my beer when I read this, you made me choke in laughter...

Russia will be a Third World Country in the not to distance future.

Very few countries will want to deal with it, business after business is pulling out, ostracised by the sporting world.

This is Putins legacy.

BOTH Crimea and Odessa are 100% Ukrainian territory.

Nothing putin EVER says or does will change that.

They BELONG to Ukraine.

For sure
yet Ukraine belongs to Russia

Shelling civilians for 3+ hours has consequences.

Someone did say every single artillerymen of any rank, age or MOS.

This was their top dog.

Someone wasn't bluffing.

New rules now.

Pay attention better.

Just watched a speech by Putler where if the translation is correct, he's offering 7.4mill rubles to families of dead soldiers and and extra 5mill rubles for soldiers participating in “special military operation in Ukraine“.

Throw in the news that alot of the Russian soldiers on the front are being made to sign back dated discharge papers for some reason...

Does this honestly sound like the actions of the winners in all this?..

The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station
(Ukrainian: Запорізька АЕС) in Enerhodar, Ukraine, is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe and among the top 10 largest in the world.

Holy crap.
Even in war places like this should be off limits.

I remember warnings not to go outside in the rain shortly after the Chernobyl accident, and that had one reactor.
The place now on fire has 6 reactors.

Ths is insanity.

Re: en.wikipedia.org...

Can these plants be shut-down cold and made "inert" or whatever the word is? The radiation from a plant with 6 reactors would make how many square miles un-inhabitable?

That wiki page mentions 2 of the reactors got shut down on feb 25,4 still operating-although maybe as its getting shelled they are attempting to shut them down.

That won't make it completley safe though-If the reactors are breached by explosions the radioactive material could be spread around-although it won't e a melt down situation like Fukushima/chernobyl.

Still pretty damn serious.
