I made a point earlier about EU and others sitting back to see how this unfolds as to whether Ukrainians see Putin as their savior from an oppressed Goverment or would they fight tooth and nail. It seems Putin's view that he is liberating them was wrong and so EU is taking more actions based on Ukraine's fighting and not cheering as Putin hoped for. I can see further actions against Russia in the coming days as this drags on and on.

I also wonder how many Russian Generals will seem to just die as this get messier and messier, I'm sure Putin is not happy.

You're right too. Striking the right balance is something professionals do.

Knowing what the thresholds should be of goading someone, is a skill all leaders and wannabe leaders should be forced into training for.

All I’m saying is some people have the ability to see the perspective of others and try and understand that perspective, while not compromising their own. I saw what he was trying to say, and I understood it. I respect the fact that he said he has his own biases simply from being the citizen of a specific country, and is trying to hone in on what’s actually happening. I try and maintain that MO; many on here do not. Do you disagree?

I’m not a pacifist. I care about seeking the truth. You clearly believe you’ve found it. That’s great. I actually don’t personally disagree with that many of your posts on here.

My only point is that there are many members here who just want to be right in their own minds instead of maintaining the course.

What putin just did clears that hurdle by a country mile.

I might be interested in everyone's nuances again someday, but for now am laser focused on what putin just did.

Was entirely his choice.

His behavior is completely unacceptable to anyone on the planet not named china.
