Solomon Islands accepts Chinese offer for riot police help

China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said Beijing was helping Solomon Islands respond to "grave" anti-government riots.

"At the request of the government of Solomon Islands, China will provide a batch of emergency riot equipment for the police and send an ad-hoc police advisory team," he told reporters on Thursday.

"The Chinese supplies and personnel will arrive in Solomon Islands soon and are expected to play a constructive role in enhancing the ability of the Solomon Islands police.

Classified American intelligence reports suggest China intends to establish its first permanent military presence on the Atlantic Ocean in the tiny Central African country of Equatorial Guinea, according to U.S. officials.

The officials declined to describe details of the secret intelligence findings. But they said the reports raise the prospect that Chinese warships would be able to rearm and refit opposite the East Coast of the U.S.—a threat that is setting off alarm bells at the White House and Pentagon.

The “most significant threat” from China would be “a militarily useful naval facility on the Atlantic coast of Africa,” Gen. Stephen Townsend, commander of U.S. Africa Command, testified in the Senate in April. “By militarily useful I mean something more than a place that they can make port calls and get gas and groceries. I’m talking about a port where they can rearm with munitions and repair naval vessels.”

Last week, China made two deliveries in India's backyard. The Pakistani Navy got 4 Chinese frigates - while Myanmar's Military Junta got a Chinese submarine. Now 3 Indian neighbors have Chinese weapons.

Perhaps one day China will have it's one belt, one road all the way through Eurasia, Africa and down to AUS, while the US takes a bigger controlling interest in South America and the Arctic.

Solomon Islands is a U.S. territory. How can they have Chyna coming to their aid? I understand not all parts of the constitution apply and they are not U.S. citizens but something is off here.

In my opinion it is worth the read. I was and still am curious about the fall-out from investigating Skinwalker ranch. If anything the book has raised questions about Reid's other actions that may tie-in from when he was still in politics. Was the incident with BLM actually connected? Might be something in action but will amount to a nothingburger, as far as any American Malthusians. The US Gov't does not recognize the ICC and Trump signed an EO or bill (can't remember which) prohibiting any Americans to be tried by the ICC. Granted that was concerning war crime accusations on the battlefields, but may extend to big pharma overlords via proxy by UN/WHO which are in the pockets of Bill Gates and other megalomaniacs. Experts pull documents, money from Lee statue time capsule

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Conservation experts in Virginia’s capital pulled books, money, ammunition, documents and other artifacts Tuesday from a long-sought-after time capsule found in the remnants of a pedestal that once held a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Along with several waterlogged books, pamphlets and newspapers, the box contained an envelope of Confederate money, which conservators carefully separated, and two carved artifacts — a Masonic symbol and a Confederate flag said to have be made from the tree that grew over Gen. Stonewall Jackson’s original grave.
