From what I've seen , the La Palma tsunami potential is far overblown. Someplace in the 2-5 meter range for the US East Coast is plausible as a maximum number.

WHAT IF... a MOAB or nuclear bomb was dropped into an erupting volcano - ifiscience.com:

No! The energy released would push deep magma deeper under great pressure and could cause major eruptions anywhere in that region of our planet.

Once the explosive force has waned, the pressure would rebound and the resultant eruption would be enormous.

Exactly opposite of what you are looking for.

That some nut job may try it ... well ... there is this virus doing the rounds ... with nut jobs doing the opposite of what they should be doing so ... yeah, cue the next nut job.

I just found that he is Gmax's nephew. I wonder what the whole grouping means? I agree on the photoshop. The scratches are too "pronounced", to fresh looking. So far I am not impressed with McAfee releases......but I'm gonna keep posting them for anyone who hasn't seen them.......for now anyways. I keep thinking that the stuff which has already been around for a while is a prelude to something substantial but am disappointed thus far.
