PS with regards to La Palma, but not quite related. There was a massive slip on the Mid-Atlantic rift that cause tsunami that flooded coastal Portugal, Spain and UK a few centuries back. Well recorded historically in UK as it went up Bristol Channel, hit London and up the Severn.

Me, too, MetalThunder and Caled. My equilibrium is gone. I thought it was just me getting over the C-virus the last two weeks. Even my cats were acting weird yesterday, they wouldn't give me any space, following me around and sticking right up against me. Really clingy.. My nerves were shot and I couldn't even manage a clear, calming thought. Feels like we are in hyper drive and no way to stop.

I think it was because the contract was supposed to be for French made equipment and they backed out of the agreement. IIRC it was like $90 billion or something very large.

One story I saw was that they thought they had a deal to provide subs to Australia, but the story didn't say nuclear subs were in the deal.
