I wonder how China will handle trying to treat Russia like they do the US. I mean with that level of destruction, that's what China will have to do if La Palma goes pop.

I'm sure England will need to defer to some back up location in the country, but the US might have a few issues since most of the backup site are still on the east coast.

But yeah, China will need to deal with Russia at that point or go under. India won't give a damn to China, either so ha ha ha on China. Maybe Japan will hel....I can't even finish that statement it's so funny.

Wow! I hope three hours is long enough to get everyone to safety. I guess this would be where having been on the frontlines of two world wars forces people in charge to make plans to do this exact thing, but still if it occurs hopefully there's time to evacuate.

This is just from a seasonal high tide!

c) An 8m tsunami restricted from 160km down to 8km corridor would multiply in height 20 times? That's 160m!
That would be sufficient for it to carry a large amount of water through to the old lake, reforming it.
