'Blitzkrieg'. An interesting choice of word. Given the history there, I wonder if Lukashenko is pointing fingers.

President Alexander Lukashenko said Thursday that Belarus had beaten back a foreign-led onslaught to overthrow his government, after months of protests against his decades-long rule.

"The blitzkrieg did not succeed, we held on to our country," Lukashenko said in a speech at the opening of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly that brought together hundreds of loyal delegates for a two-day convention in the capital Minsk.

Cheers

Yes, interesting word choice.

History Surprise: The British Invented Blitzkrieg, Not the Nazis - story posted Feb 12, 2021.

Plan 1919 was the brainchild of JFC Fuller, a brilliant British staff officer (and later Nazi sympathizer). Fuller proposed a concept that drew on the growing success of tank warfare in the final year of the First World War. Though the first "landships" had floundered during their debut at the Somme offensive of 1916, by 1918 the British army mastered combined arms warfare that integrated infantry, armor and artillery into a devastating package. It wasn't quite the popular image of blitzkrieg—not with early tanks crawling along at 3 miles per hour—but it was sufficient to break the bloody deadlock caused by trenches, machine guns and barbed wire.

And, in fact, it turns out that Heinz Guderian, the mastermind behind Hitler's blitzkrieg, had read Fuller's work after the war. The British Army might not have appreciated Fuller's insight. Unfortunately, the German Army did.

Liz Cheney and the Future of the Republicans - article posted Feb 11, 2021.

Peggy Noonan is correct when she says that most people aren’t “passionately immersed in politics” and that they “see politics as it goes by on their screens” (“Liz Cheney Wins One for Sanity,” Declarations, Feb. 6). What they’ve witnessed in the last 50 years is that every time a hard truth is gently given it’s defeated by the blitzkrieg of Democratic special-interest groups that have never found a hill they were not willing to die on. Many conservatives who have viewed this have become demoralized and discouraged with the America they see and live in.

Money talks: Saudi Arabia has unleashed a soft-power blitzkrieg, can golf change its perception on global stage?

Golf Saudi is on overdrive; besides the Saudi International, the national golf association has got Aramco, the state-owned oil-producer to sponsor a four-tournament leg on the Ladies European Tour, with the finale being held in the Kingdom.

1. Holding your OWN candidate and party accountable .

2. Focusing only on conflict of interest.

I have written about it numerous times

I have seen you mention this many multiples of times.

You know what I haven't seen you do?

Get specific.

Meaning...

How, specifically and exactly, do you address 'conflicts of interest'?

How, specifically and exactly, do you 'hold your own candidate/party accountable'?

I admit I haven't tried to ready anything and everything you may have written about it, but that last thread you linked to certainly didn't go into any specifics at all.

It is super easy to say it. It is an entirely different matter to go to try to actually come up with solutions.

So, by all means, that is a thread I'd be happy to participate in. But it must be workable, and it must be detailed enough that someone could actually (try to) implement it.

I'll get you started...

The very first step, I think, is to create a separate and independent side-platform that any candidate - D or R - can sign onto. I'll call it the 'Trump' platform. So, you could be a Republican, or Democrat, but sign onto the 'Trump' platform, and pledge to support those issues, and this pledge would supersede any loyalty or obligation to the candidates primary party.

This platform should then outline what those who sign onto it commit to doing while in office.

Make it a little flexible. Provide a set of core principles that each and every candidate that signs on must accept wholeheartedly, then some additional items that candidates can choose to support or not individually.

One of those core principles should be to agree to be subject to a recall petition that reaches a number of signatures equal to 50%+ of the number of voters who voted in their election, and in the event this happens , a special election is called, and that candidate is disqualified from running in said election.

He really is. And his hair is reminiscent of some sort of dead rodent. Why are all of our elected officials such caricatures?

I lost interest in him when he outright bashed gays, etc. Not saying he doesn't have some interesting info and I do think he is helping make folk more aware but wow, it was harsh and divisive. As a bisexual person, even I think some of the lbtq+ whatever has gone too far with the allowance of transwomen in women's sports and that the rainbow is a universal symbol and should never be taken just by one special interest group. However, he briefly went the route of christian anti gay agenda. know It's just one guys opinion and I think he's doing more positive than negative but they weren't very enlightened comments nor were the responses from others. He loses almost all left leaning people who might have come around and been curious about what he was revealing regarding the evils of the deep state.

So it brought up a concern for me in the q movement that I haven't bothered to address before. Many religious folk equate gayness with immorality, and therefore assume a proclivity to child abuse. The religious are connected to the right leaning and tend to see all democrat/left leaning as demonic. Most of my friends are hard leftists and much of their fight is a pendulum swing in that direction away from the traditional religious agenda that persecuted anyone who was different. I believe their ideas are valid but, taken to such extremes, make them vulnerable to communist/socialist/elitist agenda as they are not seeing the forest for the trees, nor the dangerous animals lurking in it. A fight to bring down the world's CP rings needs everyone's support and we will never have that if we demonize another side's lifestyle, when that isn't relevant to the issue.

The other thing along these lines is that the leftist's support abortion and much of the right doesn't. I believe it should be available within current limits, of course and that women who abuse it are rare. Will a Q/right wing win remove corruption and CP world wide but return us to the dark ages of persecuting gays and imprisoning women in their kitchens and bedrooms, uneducated and forcibly producing babies for god's army?

I am not even religious (more spiritual) but believe one's sexuality and decision to have an abortion are between them and their creator and shouldn't be used to fire up a political agenda.

Sorry for my rant. I'm not going to discuss or argue any of this as to do so derails more important issues at hand. It's just been on my mind in terms of which side I should be supporting and is not directed at any of you wonderful people.

For reason your comment makes me think of this library i found yesterday on github

github.com...

It's a small library for transmitting data as sound between two devices, couple that with a radio transmitter and you can send encrypted data over radio waves that can be picked up by another device and decoded with the message.

They’ve just been pouring radioactive waste and water into the Pacific for the last 10 years straight. 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. And it’s like nobody cares, or everybody has forgotten or something….but this is still a gigantic problem with no solution.
