Well, the farthest place south is Lukeville. I think what you're thinking of isn't as far south as there.

Well by golly I had to go look it up. I'd never heard of Lukeville before although my husband told me he's gone down to work there a couple times. So I got a good geography lesson. I was actually surprised to see just how far north the border goes from Nogales, and how far north Yuma is tha Nogales -- probably a good hundred miles.

This thread is just full of surprises!

Definitely... but it's come from all sides.

Has it really?

Majority of your links are still Far Right.

But, you can’t expect the Left to just be quiet and sit it out. Putting up roadblocks, countering, etc — that’s just normal procedure.

The Over Drama is coming from the Right.

I was Republican for 40+ years. But, they kept moving further and further Right. I don’t know what they are anymore. I don’t think they do either.

So you like doing the Cupid Shuffle and continually moving "To the left, to the left, to the left, to the left?"

Well, to be truthful, I had never heard of Lukeville, either! Ha! I always went due south or southeast of Tucson. Never southwest.

A little tabloid-ism to fill the news void.

An Arizona Republic reporter was escorted from the Arizona election audit site on Friday morning after posting a photo showing a former Republican legislator at a ballot counting table.

The photo showed a ballot, with no markings discernible, on a vertical stand in front of former state Rep. Anthony Kern, R-Glendale.

The reporter, Ryan Randazzo, was told his press privileges were revoked. He left the building as requested.

Randazzo was observing the audit, along with two other Arizona journalists, as part of an agreement with audit organizers to monitor the proceedings.

Randazzo had spotted Kern tallying votes at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum as part of the unprecedented review ordered by the Arizona Senate.

No sane person thinks that a fringe group that is pro Trump that is completely unqualified to do a vote count will come up with an accurate count.

This group has already decided that Trump won, now they will do a fraudulent recount and claim that Trump won.

I am amazed that you guys will not believe the actual vote count that was done securely because you do not like the results but will believe this circus of a fraudulent recount because it strokes your confirmation bias.

It is sad to watch the collective IQ of ATS plummet and so many of ATS believe the great lies of Trump and friends.

AZ is 1/3 1/3 1/3.

It is the Independents that rule AZ. They are what swing the state.

This is hard for some people to grasp. I know that just from speaking to my friends and family outside of the state. They think I'm the only anti-party freak. The left-right paradigm is strong.

Just curious here, but have you seen any opinion polls of Arizonans regarding the audit?

I've specifically looked for any opinion polls a few times, and I haven't found anything. Not even a simple reader poll by AZ Central or the Republic. I'd like to hear more about what others think -- lots of others! -- especially outside Maricopa County.

There’s only made up drama and speculation coming from the Right.

And made up "facts" that there is no fraud from the Left. It works both ways.

Significant Manipulation

You have no idea what my political position is. For one thing, I do not discuss it on ATS.

I attend both Rep & Dem meetings in my town.

But, here’s a quote from Goldwater: “Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.”

Funny thing about AZ.

You say SW — and people interpret it as the whole state.

Arizona Officials Move in on Thursday – Increase the Number of Tables at Veterans Memorial Coliseum to Speed Up Forensic Audit

Apparently table space has been doubled, audit still on course to be complete by deadline.

HUGE ARIZONA UPDATE: Desired Data Collected from the Voting Machines for Forensic Audit – Machines Are Ready for Handover Back to Maricopa County
Note that this excerpt is not directly describing this audit, but the "normal process" when auditing machines:

An IT expert shared with us the normal process that takes place in an audit of machines like what is being done here. Likely the auditors made copies of the machines. If done properly the machines will not be impacted in any way and a clean copy is created. There is likely more than one copy of each machine copied for safekeeping and review.

After all the machines are copied, which should take approximately 24 hours, the machines are no longer needed. Also, since there was nothing that changed on the machines there would be little to no impact from this audit. This should prevent massive costs from being incurred by the County, unlike what Brahm is insinuating here:

Gateway Pundit has an interview with Ken Bennett, the Senate Audit Liaison. You can watch it at the link, and I'll give a few brief highlights here.

TGP’s Jordan Conradson Interviews AZ Audit Director Ken Bennett — HUGE DEVELOPMENTS Including Plans to Triple Output and Questions on Number of Fraudulent Ballots (VIDEO)
  • More than doubled work stations from 20 to 46
  • Using temp agency for additional workers to man these new stations
  • May go to three shifts, tripling "throughput"
  • Won't be releasing any findings until release of report (per contract with Cyber Ninjas)
  • Looking for folds, hand filled in vs copied or printed
  • Working on rebuttal letter to DOJ re Brennan Center request for intervention by DOJ
  • UV lights looking for watermarks; County Elections office claims there are no watermarks
  • No deadline; Must make floor available for high school graduations week of May 14, but they can use other areas, or take a break and return to floor the following week
  • Counters and observers are covering their license plates in fear of retaliation (from BLM, Antifa, etc), but no confirmation of problems there... BUT doxxing by reporters has been a big problem
  • Most voting machines have been processed and returned; specifically the "big" machines used to count in Maricopa central counting center, but still have some of the smaller machines from outlying areas. Will probably be done with those on Monday

Didn't ask anything about the Crazy Times Carnival tho -- darn! I'd like to know what the Senators and Audit Committee were told, and when they were told.

Oh my... I guess this is the other side of the story? Kinda? Maybe? This is from CNN... Among other things covered (and I use that term loosely), they apparently thought it was a good idea to question counters and observers on their way in/out. CNN thought it was a good idea. The counters and observers didn't!!!

I'll just drop it here and let others watch and make up their own minds. Or not.

Feel free to tell me at anytime what my politics are (just not in this thread). I have given bits and pieces over the years.

But, ATS is more of a reactionary, comment, format. Not currently for serious debate.

I can say it’s definitely not the Religious Right or Donald Trump and the Narcissistic Illusion of Grandiosity.

Doesn't look good for CNN. They must be finding all sorts of fraud. By voting machines alone Trump won by 11,000,000 votes.

Looks like CNN is all upset because BLM and Antifa aren't running the process. Very encouraging.

It's difficult for me to understand why America has no real men left in government who are man enough to kick some royal @ss when confronted with scumbags. If I was there and unethical things were pushed upon me by corrupt scumbags in the election centers they wouldn't be able to go home that day.

I've been pretty disgusted with the overall level of reporting on this audit, both locally and nationally, but the national media really didn't pay attention until the first day of the audit, when training was taking place before the actual audit process began. And only then when the judge issued the temporary restraining order in the Dem's last minute court case. Altho that backfired on them a big way when they soon had to report that the judge also ordered a bond that the Dems chose not to pay, so the TRO never took effect. They weren't expecting that!

But for the most part, the reporting has been big on innuendo and doom and very short on actual facts. The local NBC station has been pretty good about reporting on new info as it comes out, and they had a reporter in the courtroom who was tweeting almost in real time. I've been surprised at how slow some media have been to report even basic facts. I know many things have been intentionally kept from the public, but there was still much factual information that could have -- and should have -- been provided, they could and should have pushed harder for those facts in the public's interest and not pushed the damn fear mongering and partisan politics so much.

A little useful info from the Audit leadership. There is NO May 14th Deadline. The forensic audit has been authorized to continue longer, and will continue beyond May 14th.

Thank you for the link! It won't let me open, so I must have used up my however many articles I can read for free, but hopefully others can.

Ken Bennett said the same in an interview with GP. I excerpted it, about halfway up this page. Bennett said they'll need to make the floor free for high school graduations the week of the 14th, but they are free to return after that and continue the audit.

I'm not thrilled at the thought that the audit will take longer than we thought, which would probably push back the release date for the report. But I'd rather have it done right, so okay.
