I'm not sure I'm on board with that Crown Act stuff, but if there's any truth to it, then the solution would be to eliminate the District of Colombia. Dissolve the "corporation" and retrocede the land back to Maryland. We don't really need a separate capitol district anyway.

We didn't, but to get around the overt hostility the Constitution revels in -- "Free first" and "Freewill," the controller goons needed a "legal" way around that problem. On the actual note. Posted earlier it seems @snowden thinks Assange was already pardoned. I'm not an expert in the field but I imagine during War a President has the ability to pardon all sorts of folks secretly in the same way folks get commendations secretly.
