Here is a list of Campaign Streamers in the history of the armed forces of the US.
Abeyance was part of Inherent Resolve in 2014/2015.

Lots of red flags around this. China is concerned about the supply chain and whether it has been tampered with and once again are we seeing a country trying to protect themselves from something they have been engaging in themselves.
Remember we have questions about the quality of steel that has been imported here from China. I am sure there must be much more that has been compromised.

An Abeyance Flag may mean, especially in the days of sailing ships, that during a battle the command ship would hoist the abeyance flag to hold fire so the ranking sailors could determine the enemies situation. Cannon in those days used very smoky black powder and the smoke would have to clear to see what was left of the enemy.
