I found that Eddie Apodaca was a real New Mexico State Police officer, who was assigned to Socorro County, New Mexico, where Baca and Padilla grew up, in the early 1950s, when they were in their early teens. However, I have documented that Eddie Apodaca was not commissioned as a police officer until January, 1951. In August 1945, the date of the fictional UFO crash, Eddie Apodaca was with his Army unit in Germany. Yes, in August 1945, Apodaca was very much closer to 5-year-old Jacques Vallee than to San Antonio, New Mexico. I obtained documents showing that Apodaca could not have been anywhere in the state of New Mexico until at least three months after the crash—and, again, he was not a police officer until more than five years after the “crash date.”

...there is a problem with some of these new, so called 'UFO activists'. They are blinded by belief and not very good at actual research unless it reinforces those beliefs. They are easily manipulated and exceptional at attacking people on social media and things could get worse than that. Unfortunately the most vociferous often get attention. And it looks like their trust in a bunch of spooks is turning over control of the subject to the US military/industiral complex.
“The UFO Hearings today made history,” Tom wrote. “I am so proud of the three witnesses today that blew the lid off the UFO secrecy that has been intact for decades. Graves, Fravor and Grusch are HEROES. I appreciated the shout-out during the hearing, but so many were involved with @tothestars.media to make this happen. Get your shirt now, and remember that we at To The Stars changed the world.”
Speaking to The Independent, the blink frontman also proudly enthused: “Everything that is happening right now is 100 per cent because of To The Stars. I mean, I’ve known this, and my guys know this… we really feel, in our company, we’ve really changed the course of the world.”
Tom DeLonge took a hiatus from Blink-182 to feed his lifelong extraterrestrial passion. Eight years later, as Congress holds historic hearings on UFOs, he tells Sheila Flynn: ‘This was all part of the plan’
