There was a time when I would have said you were nuts to suggest traitorous citizens employed by the government would go so far as to deploy a bioweapon within the country to hide their crimes.

We have come a long way in four years.

I think it had to be this way. They were not sure just who is a swamp creature and who is not. They had to lay out many traps before catching all if not most of the bad apples. I'm sure there are a few sleepers who may be smart enough to stay hidden and may not be activated for a long time, even after their masters and handlers have gone to jail, executed.

That really does not make any since.
Thankfully here in the south where I live no one is even considering not allowing in person votes.
We all voted here in person during the primary a few weeks ago.

I've had the feeling for a while now that the tardiness is intentional; that Trump knows he won't be reelected,

I honestly still see it as a 50/50.
I think the vote numbers in 2020 will be very similar to the numbers from 2016.
I don't think ether side has convened the other to switch.
If anything the election will be just as close as the last one but with smaller turnout.

Schiff or Nadler (or any Democrat) would quickly demand former President Trump to testify, if it was discovered that former officials Pence, Grenell, Haspel, Pompeo, etc.. were involved in corruption before Trump left office.
