I believe Grassley will serve out the remainder of his term as the chair of the judiciary committee, and Graham will go back to his preview position. The GOP only allows members 6 years as a chair of a committee I think, then Graham will be back (hope not) and someone will replace him.

He would hand it over after the next election. Nov. Grassley seems to be on the Q team. Lindsey stepping down might mean he's become a placeholder. If so, he's going to nuke it all without fear of losing his position, Grenell model.

The announcement right after Flynn is the signifier, as it suggests Flynn is the Keystone to open it all up. It also suggests any possible problems with investigations is nil.

Or. Lindsey hopes to blow up investigations by holding hearings. Without Q drops I'd say this, but because this is in the drops way ahead of time I think not.

It appears he will be stepping down after the Nov 2020 election I believe which means jack # will get down while he is still the chair.
