WAIT A MINUTE. They are closing bars. Keeping us from assembling, ahem the revolution was created by men drinking and saying we need to have a tea party.
I am very, very, suspicious of them closing bars.... I am wondering if something sinister, is brewing. I see the economy on life support this week, and the markets getting their teeth kicked in. All hands on deck with updates guys.
The coronavirus’ impact on China’s economy was made plain in new numbers released on Monday, which showed a dramatic collapse across the board. Amid a widespread shutdown of manufacturing operations, industrial production – a measure of manufacturing, mining and utilities activity – declined by 13.5 per cent over the first two months of the year, combined data for January and February showed. This was the first decline on record, although ordinarily the data is released monthly. But the numbers were well below expectations of a 3.0 per cent decline. Retail sales, a key metric of consumption in the world’s second largest economy, fell by 20.5 per cent, again the first decline on record. This was well below the median forecast of a group of analysts, conducted by Bloomberg, which predicted a 4.0 per cent contraction.

Agoraphobia could save a life.
I started avoiding crowds when concerts got stupidly big. Last one was the Stones in '97.

HYPOTHETICAL:
If this all gets really, really bad stock market and bank wise, what do you think will happen?
I.e. they all crash and are worthless - green paper is no more valuable than toilet paper unless we agree it is.
I know Gold and silver are supposed to be stores of value, but realistically - if HYPOTHETICALLY it got to the point where there was no food and you had a tin of baked beans.
Would you swap your beans for a pile of gold or silver?
Cryptocurrecies have got to be even less than useless.
Maybe skills (medical, electrical, mechanical, etc) will be worth more than gold?
Food will be the new currency?

we are all going back in time now,
Back to the last recession you mean?
I think that's highly likely.
if you see my bamboo shoots now, I don't think you'll want to knock down my door or windows.
yes, but I don't think the bread lines will be so friendly
here we see chinese fighting old ladies to steal their mask that they just bought
of course, they got their assess kick and bones broke, guess what, no one called the ambulance for them
they were just left on the ground
thats all i know about that
it was on tv here
You can make fairly effective pugil sticks out ot a length of PVC pipe and a roll of toilet paper on each end..
