But hold on, China has been at 80,000 for the past month, so that shows it can be virtually stopped with certain measures.

I don’t think the Chinese have stopped this for one minute. Not a chance. Even if they had mostly, once their cities open up again and the worlds workshop grinds back into action it will come again. This won’t be done until it’s done or until a viable, reliable vaccine has been produced. Even then such a vaccine might be almost useless - we shall see.

I think it is reasonable to say that Covid-19 will sweep the globe, have its way with us, and then leave us to pick up the pieces. Best we can hope for is the flattening of the curve enough to keep our health care systems from collapsing under its weight.

Hope I’m wrong.
td says you’re not...

Hey ATS folks , good morning from the "Land of the Rising Sun".

Wow! I left last night at page #51 and now we are on page #62, seems things have slowed down a bit.

Anyway, I posted a thread that many of you may have missed. I'm going to post it here again. One poster posted on it and he/she is thinking outside the box. My post was backed up with research in the field of neurology .

This is the post: www.abovetopsecret.com...
and this post: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Please give this some thought. I know we will be seeing lot more info on this subject as more Americans are quarantine, not only ask too, but will be in quarantine facilities by the US govt. shortly. And what I mean by shortly is "tent cities" of those infected with the virus. (call it what you want, but it really is at your door step ) I'd like to place this statement as MIM 's "street talk", and this is from a few people that are in America that I chat with.

Anyway, I know we have some people here that are in the medical field , so how do you feel about the research that is being done on this?

Yep I know! I probably need to step away from this forum for a bit as some people come swooping in with such sensational claims (without anything to back them up) &logically I know to take things like that with a pinch of salt, but actually the world around IS going crazy and people ARE dying..we're seeing things happen that just...well, dont make sense! My mind is struggling to comprehend it all. I'm sure I can't be the only one. I'm so scared for my children.

Anyway.. I'll include an update so as not to derail! UK's youngest victim is a 59 Male. With underlying issues. But i found it unusual to read about..we haven't seen many stories about the ones who have died.

UKs youngest is the new born who is positive.

Then there's Cody, 7 in UH Hartlepool

You are guilty of categorical thinking - look it up then stop doing it.

Hey, I understand how you feel, I have 2 girls under 5.

Our school has stated tho that if anyone in the household has symptoms even consistent with a cold, stay home.
Since I am in self isolation (due to a cold), they will thankfully be staying home.

We've just had someone at our local stores a couple days ago talking it up that he just returned from Vietnam where it is running rampant.
They asked him why he hasn't self isolated... His response; "I will will once I buy groceries". :|

So yeah.
It may not be documented yet... But CV is definitely in my town.

My concern is the slow-burn of this once-acquired. I’m not sure that I don’t actually have this for a month now. There was one hellacious night with a fever, but not too much else. Here’s why I think it’s a particularly brutal infection. For about three weeks I’ve been having bouts of difficulty breathing. I thought is was anxiety from these threads and dealing with a heartache I reused to accept until, well, I could barely breathe. I’ve been trying to quit smoking too, but the stress and the addiction is proving difficult. Anyway, this ain’t about me so feel free to disregard this first part.

This thing attacks the lungs and other organs. Including apparently the testes, heart, and kidneys too. I swear I can feel this doing a number in my chest. Not a wheeze. Nor a cough coming on, but like a soldering iron. A slow acute discomfort. Couple this with this thing hangs out in the brain/brain stem and affects the medula oblongata (sp)?, which in turn affects your CNS. So, ergo, besides making breathing difficult, it also seems to affect your actual ability to breathe somehow. I’m not sure how to describe it, but I sometimes feel like I need to actually be conscious of my breath. Makes trying to go to bed scary as hell.

I hope we can get through this thing as a world that can come together. It’s real. I wish it wasn’t.

Well if news from the UK is to be believed we'll be looking at 8 million people (c.15%) requiring hospital treatment.

If we can flatten that out to the flattest possible flatness it's almost 154000 people per week.

On the basis that:

1) people need weeks of IC to recover; and;

2) We only have a few thousand ICU beds;

We're in for a rough ride.

It's down to you dudes in the USA to remember us and get justice for us.

We're not all red coats, we're no coats.

Just cannon fodder.

Welp folks, the weekend is coming to a close on my side of the world. Allot has happened in 48 hours. Wide spread school closing, France, Spain quarantined, bars restaurants closing just allowing take out orders in states, 🤷‍♂️ Feel bad for waitresses and bartenders fed cuts rate to zero, went up on cases about 30k at this moment world wide. Curfews in some cities on the east coast. I feel like a frog slowly being boiled. The coming week, I wish I could say things will improve this week, when we see the first state going on lockdown, I will be getting ready to sit home for a couple weeks. I no longer have any doubt this is a very big historical event still being written. Stay safe, well take your vitamins get good rest, unplug from the pandemic when it starts to sound surreal etc. Time to watch some movies. The cdc announce recommending no large gatherings for 8 weeks has social media gobsmacked. Dunno how the democrat voting gonna go 🤷‍♂️.

Here is a link to a decent summary.

Such an AMAZINGLY descriptive post that I literally had a flash back of being sick several years ago and feeling exactly what you are describing! I know how scary that is!

The ‘Soldering Iron’ description is interesting. I know my body well but after the last week or so I’ve been feeling flashes of this, or a strange, deep tightness in my chest. Initially I thought it was psychological but it’s happened a few too many times now. And, as you mentioned, this is a slow DEEP burner, and the more I’ve read about retroviruses and the lesions on the lungs this virus causes, in turn leading to severe respiratory failure and assisted breathing, the more I’m beginning to think like you this is a real slow potent burner

I don’t have any other symptoms (touch wood) but the more I read about the virus and how it isn’t necessarily discriminating against age, not to mention, the total collapse of the economy and global governments making panic’d movements, the more I am beginning to worry ...

Reading a lot of positive things about vitamin D ..

Thanks, I guess. Sorry for the flashback. It feels like there is a battle occurring in my body. Not quite debilitating as yet. But even on walks I have to catch myself and say it’ll be okay. I’ve woken up out of sleep gasping for breath. And now it’s tough to even go to sleep as I feel the back of the inside of my head being worked on. Ie you need to be hydrated and have plenty of oxygen to just get to sleep.
I’m young enough (if can just quit nicotine, hopefully not via death) that I should be okay.

This truly makes me glad I’m not married with children. But the psychological toll internally and externally must be excruciating for those that do. I honestly feel for the people of the world. Their helpless (hopeless, clueless? Leaders too. I could go on. But dystopia isn’t just on Netflix anymore.

2020 was supposed to be cool. Instead it’s the year we learned to appreciate our loved ones, whittling on your porch, and personal veggie gardens came back into fashion.

I saw some odd stuff the past few days indicating new infections, nothing reliable though. Pandemics do like to move in waves and unless numbers have been drastically altered it’s still going to move very quickly. Even if it’s stabilized we are still looking and months or a year of this crap since this thing has stable transmission with close contact and fomite spread.

It’s not just the Chinese, one of the most important elements of the Event 201 scenario was information quarantine and control because they believed they could mitigate damage, hoarding supplies, unrest and disease spread. The end result of that aspect of the scenario was an inherent distrust of numerous government agencies and support systems. All they did was slow everything down with the same end result, human nature.

Social media was the wildcard and controlling it without blacking it out was challenging until the controlling organizations were brought into the fold.
