UTICA, N.Y. – Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente announced nine new cases of coronavirus during his briefing Wednesday, bringing the county total to 55. So far, 651 people have been tested, and 383 have returned negative results. There are still 213 results pending.

We also have this for NY. Correctional Officers and staff can now wear face masks.

The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision will now allow prison staff to wear face masks, according to state Sen. Joseph Griffo, R-47.

The only problem I see with this is, in a prison you don't have an actually clean area where you can take your mask off and eat or drink. You take the mask off your still breathing the same air as the inmates, then you put your mask back on.

I was referring to actions taken inside the US, so no, 911 doesn't even remotely fit my argument.

Yeah, they added nearly 1,500 asymptomatic Cases.

If you have to go out because supplies are running low, be damn sure to stay clear of others, do not touch anything you don't have to, don't touch your face, wash your hands and wipe down your items and door knob etc when you get home. I am being serious, you don't want this crud in your home and near your family. The peak might be late April mid May, hunker down be strong and be safe.

Up to 40 here in Steuben. It is ramping up slowly in upstate, but I think we will get hit pretty hard in the next few weeks.

A lot of people around here are still not taking it serious. How about up your way?

They aren't out of the Kitchen yet.
You want to keep an eye on China, and see what they do.
If Re-Infection is a 'Thing', they won't open up to the outside world until it's over.
If they do, it might be a good sign.
We still don't know enough about this Virus, but for once, the World needs to work together.

Yeah, that's I'm thinking too. Starting to see more people wearing masks in the stores around here in New Hartford. Store shelves are starting to look better stocked. I'd heard that they wanted to try and open schools around here by the 15th, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
