Just got word that an older man from our church is heading in for surgery. Does not look good. Sounds like a blood clot on the brain.
The thing is, he was admitted to the hospital over the weekend. Diagnosed with pneumonia. Not saying he has Corona, but just seems like the timing is too coincidental.
I think clotting can be a problem with this virus. One of the signs is elevated D-dimer (got this from a tweet by Craig Spencer MD. If you google that it indicates that there may be significant blood clot (thrombus) formation and breakdown in the body. So the combo of pneumonia and the clot to me looks like there's a probability. Who knows if they will test him or not.
There has been a couple cases confirmed at that hospital so far I believe. I have no idea if they tested him or not, just going on information from a phone call.
It just seems to me, pneumonia now is suspicious.
I hope he pulls through, and is okay, but he is older, and has several other health problems, so prognosis is not good.

Weird to that Washington State was the first hit (and heavy) but just went into lockdown and now has barely any new cases
Maybe because the media switched to New York and now they are spiking, just as Cali did when the media mentioned it

That’s an irrelevant point.... deaths would still rise no?
But Washington has been through at least 2; 14 day “waves”.... so why aren’t their systems overloaded and people flooding the streets in blood? BECAUSE ITS NOT SERIOUS
During those two weeks, Minnesotans are able to leave their homes for health and safety activities, outdoor activities, gathering necessary supplies, essential travel, the care of others and relocation purposes.

With all due respect, I don't know why some of you try to portray as if Trump "discovered" Chloroquine. It has been used in China for the past months, it's been used in Turkey, and also in some Latin American countries.
It certainly helps to make hospitalization shorter, but it's not a "cure" per se.

Well, according to one Doctor using it in Monroe NY, it (in conjunction with two other things) has proven 100% effective, with 350 patients, in resolving serious problems very quickly without any hospitalization required.

How sad. RIP

A 21 year old with no underlying health conditions has just died after being tested positive for Covid-19 here in the UK.
So very sad.

Not going to happen. Ever.
UK gets rid of the virus and there are no more infections
