Stats for France are more than 50% of IC patients are under 60.
Netherlands, 50% are under 50.
Do you think that in other countries, where they are reporting that it hits the elderly harder, that it is because there is more of an elderly population in China and Italy so the numbers skew higher? Only time will tell as other countries start to share stats like these. *Disclaimer: I have no idea if China and Italy have more elders than other countries...it is purely speculation on my part.
At least 100 people have tested positive for the new coronavirus in Borough Park, a Hasidic neighborhood in Brooklyn. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency confirmed the number with an official at Asisa, an urgent care clinic in the New York City neighborhood that caters to the Hasidic community. According to the official, who asked to remain anonymous because of restrictions on speaking to the media, the 100 positive tests have come since the clinic began testing on Friday morning. Asisa has conducted 1,000 total tests, the official said. As of Tuesday, there are 814 total coronavirus cases in New York City, according to its Department of Health.

In the absence of sufficient places in intensive care, caregivers in the areas most affected by the epidemic tell us that they have given up intubating 70-year-old patients, already sick.
Faced with the massive influx of patients in France, certain resuscitations, like many in the Grand-Est, are already saturated. Therefore the dreaded question arises: if we can not treat everyone, should we favor certain people? Delphine nods. “It's like in war medicine, you have to make choices. It will be based on age or health status. "
