The USA is not going to collapse. To many smart people in this country still. It’s not happening. After observing this virus, for going on 3 months I am willing to bet on it... this is not the end of the world..

Hi, I hope this hasn't been posted and actually qualifies as an update. If not...
and sorry.

Joe Rogan had an expert on the matter on his podcast and boy, he's not sugarcoating:

- predicts about 500.000 deaths in the us alone over the next 6 - 12 months

Never happen.

Heard from my contact in Italy...

He said in his region (which he is still in the northern parts) the hospital situation is not as bad as it might be in some regions where they are 200% filled, etc.

He said they can leave to go to work, get food, or visit doctor. He mentioned there were other restrictions that were challenging, but didn't expand on those.

He said he heard some people had been stock piling, but he went to the market today and they were all stocked up.

Our high school in Kansas

My daughters told me today that the school was saying they are preparing to do online learning if needed. They already issue computers to all the students anyhow, so it just make sense to take it online, if their VPN can handle it. But I doubt they do that unless they are forced too.

Update in my small town in SC.....we have 2 more possible cases. We have 7 of 9 cases in SC and that's really weird. I guess it shouldn't surprise me because so many here work in the capitol, but i thought they would have the first cases. This is scary.

Is this correct ? 60 to 70 % of the people in Germany will get the virus

m.bild.de...=amp.bil dMobile.html?__twitter_impression=true

I've thought the same about most of these for a while now. Once all the flu is worse people realize the severity of the situation SWHTF

Hi Belt,

What amazes me is we have a perfect casestudy.... ITALY....

Italy is literally collapsing in front of our eyes yet we simply look away....In all likelyhood 100% confident of this assessment what we see occuring in Italy WILL occur in the USA.

Its a simple fact.

It's not that bad in Italy all over... just in some regions. See my post here...

Joe Rogan had an expert on the matter on his podcast and boy, he's not sugarcoating:

- predicts about 500.000 deaths in the us alone over the next 6 - 12 months
- mentions an email from a cardiologist in Milan, Italy. Among the horrible things contained in said email are reports of many ppl in the '40-something age range' having severe symptoms, disputing the narrative 'its only an old people disease'
- much more: they discuss efficacy of different mask types, the possibility of this being a man-made virus etc.

It's valuable information right from the get-go.

After 11 years of lurking, first post on ATS.

Since we haven't really seen recently what is going on in China other then President Xi was recently in Wuhan, it would be hard to say what the future of this virus will bring. I had in the past posted a few misconceptions (thoughts) and in a way it wasn't good to do it on this forum.
But in this country we have had 10 die and if the Princess Diamond is included a total of 17 have died. We currently have 49 known cases that are reported in serious condition (not critical condition yet) so in a way, we simple can't say about future deaths. But if we look at this figure: 530 cases...(well, let's include the Princess Diamond, then its 696 cases) yet only 17 people have died. So what's the percent of deaths here... that would more likely give a "current" situation. But as we all know, numbers of reported cases change by the hour.

One thing is for sure, I hope the school principles start shutting the doors to their schools at all levels.

Prediction in ten days
1. NYC, LA, and Seattle will be under complete quarantine

14 - 28 days before things get really bad there.

Their governments won't pen them up though. They'll let 'em out to get it spreading furiously where you live too.

Fox telling it like it is ... finally.

We're going to see the travel industry get decimated, Qantas have already shut down 1/4 of their fleet.

Well, that can't be right as they all told us to do this, and we'd be safe!

I'm not going to wash my hands every 20 seconds.

I’m not an expert but I’ll be the first to declare......
Washing your hands every 20 seconds is the best way to not become infected with the corona virus 🦠

That's probably because they are now on to it big time. Take Western Samoa as opposed to Eastern Samoa during the Spanish flu the NZ administered region had no travel restrictions and some 8000 odd deaths, American Samoa on the other hand had strict quarantine and no deaths. This is a disease of crowds, and travel and can be beaten if the right measures are taken. The problem being they should have been taken weeks ago.

Hey, I think there is some confusion here on this hand washing issue.

You should wash hands for a duration of 20 seconds, not every 20 seconds, from what I have understood so far.

at least this is what we are being told *shrug*
