So why is the state letting this trans male compete at all?

I think it is to send a message that Texas refuses to acknowledge the reality of gender dysphoria. This kid is sending another message back. Good for him.

Now if Patrick Stewart called me gross... I think I'd actually need some time to recover.

Now hold on, no one gets to pull that Picard.

By definition of the state accepting the medically necessary drugs as prescribe by the physician, it’s not cheating. You’re engaging in both appeal to emotion and ad hominim against the subject of this story.

The story is where it is because the state refuses to rule in either direction.

It's really more simple. A woman is taking testosterone and being allowed to compete against other women. There's no emotion involved, only facts. The rest is just politics.

Yes, you are a bit confused. He doesn’t want to compete against girls; he wants to compete against the guys. The state won’t let him. Why do you think that is?

I don't have a problem with transgenders at all. Some people who are transgender, I really can't stand, but that holds true for some men and some women too.

As I have said the only 'group' of people I really can't stand at all en masse are progressives and that is something I will certainly say loudly and proudly.

Because she is a woman. I would have thought it obvious that the sport would want only men to compete in a mens event.

You’ve called him a cheater when current legal definitions say otherwise; you’re appealing to emotion.

You don’t have a problem with transgendered folk but continually misgender this one?

There’s that denial that Texas is so good at as well. He is a trans male. He has a medical condition called gender dysphoria. He has been medically prescribed testosterone to help make his body correct, to match with his brain. Now that his body is more in line with the boy he knows he is, he wants to compete against other boys.

You can keep pointing out this, but the fake that it is a person on steroids and able to compete with women is pretty much the same thing.

I have a point to make in here somewhere, its about being freely able to express yourself as a human being
and I think advocates for drug use for any reason would do well to support the trans community.
So that all humans can freely express themselves and also explore their own consciousness freely without being told what they can and cannot do with their own bodies !

At what point should your freedom expression limit you, such as sports where that expression gives you an advantage over others.

Why would someone have to delay it just to be in line with a bunch of ignorant texas hicks?

They don't have too, just don't do sports...lol how can you not see that? I guess you have no problem with a woman taking testosterone and going undefeated for two years to win the state championship....

Now you put this person in with men to wrestle and she will get killed... What would be a huge gain against women would be a huge limitation against the real thing. Plus you now open the doors to suggest that the male who thinks they are a female can now compete with females...you can't have it just one way.

With you seemly vastly superior intellect than those hick Texans what is the answer here?

Literally nobody is advocating he continue to wrestle women or women be allowed to “dope” and compete.

There’s an ocean of difference between someone who “thinks they’re the other gender” and someone who’s actively doing hormone replacement therapy to live the rest of their life as the other gender; but acknowledging that would force you to rethink the overly simplified assumptions you’re using to justify your stance on this.

He is forced to compete with women. He is not allowed to compete with men (as he has requested).
