OP omits many important details in the matter .. including the general consensus that the suit brought by the US House of Representatives is deeply flawed and may very well be a disruption of the Constitutional balance of powers between the legislative and executive branches.

But none of that matters to those who support the destruction of American law at any cost, and now, oddly favor the use of Executive Orders by a President that is obviously attempting to subvert that same American law.

The sad thing is that, in addition to maintaining a healthy populace, the education of the populace is also one of the most important things to a healthy society.

Even more sad is that those two things seem considered as less significant by a large number of people, and are some of the the first things on the chopping block when funds or budgeting is concerned.

People should want a healthy and educated citizenry.

How does single payer mean I have any say in your health care? Single payer is simply a better deal. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars a month for premiums that don't even cover your healthcare, plus co-pays, plus prescriptions, plus doctor visits, hospital, surgery, etc.... You pay one thing, usually a tax, and it covers everything. No more wondering wha the insurance will cover. It's covered. Period. It's a better deal for your money.

He didn't. Not really. He figured he would get his loyal followers excited enough to dump millions of dollars into his television network. Then when he won, he was like, "Oh crap." You could see the look on his face.

That whole "media empire" thing is the reason why he spends all his time pandering to his base, despite the fact that it doesn't help him actually accomplish anything as President.

Children fighting cancer roll up their sleeves with every treatment. They didn't make choices that gave them cancer.

Most kids suffering with illnesses like that are seen by one of the many charity funded children's hospitals as it is... why bring them into this conversation when we are discussing tax subsidized adults?
