Well Einstein... first, it's 2014 not 2016 data. Not that it matters really. And if you actually read the sources you cited you'd know that the figures are based upon AGI --- gross income minus deductions. You know, those same deductions that can cause an alleged billionaire like Trump to pay absolutely zero, nada, zippo, no taxes for the last 5-10years. So you have the top 10% of people making almost 50% of all the AGI (lower income people's actual income is closer to AGI 'cause they have far fewer deductions). So stuff the outrage. The data you cited doesn't really make the case that you're trying to make. The top 1% have incomes --- not wealth which is unconscionably higher, but incomes, 10-times higher than the nation's median income. 10 times.

And how much of that 71% did Trump pay again?

This has what to do with this discussion?

Do you see your own words? Might your view be too cynical to be objective? Definitely wouldn't want that cynic hired to solve any problems.

Might you and many others be too entitled and dependent to have an objective view on this? Obviously the man on the free ride isn't going to call for a reduction of his freebies...

Of course they do, they have actual skin in the game. Rewards must outpace risk, or far fewer people would invest, hire, or otherwise take risks with their money that ultimately is the backbone of this country's industries and employment.

It's called "economics" and people who clearly lack education in it obviously can't understand it...

I don't see what more can be said. Trump has defunded Obamacare. It is now Trumpcare. Aren't you happy yet?

It's simply being sent back to Congress to work further on. The fight isn't over and certainly isn't "won" yet.

It would be better care if no politician, no political ideology owned it.

No. Trump clearly said the monthly subsidy payments have stopped. It's his baby now.

Well, now you can buy cheap insurance across state lines now. I assume you are of excellent health with no pre existing conditions.

Right now six states allow it.
www.ncsl.org...

Does an executive order void state laws? I think not.

Super excited to buy cheap insurance that doesn't cover sh*t and screws me if I get sick. I guess this is the awesome "freedom" to not have healthcare coverage. "Freedom" to be raped by insurance companies... "Freedom" for insurance companies to sell snake oil!

I feel like republican "freedom" is not so good for people.

It isn't germane to the conversation and is none of your business.

It's my business.

And my responsibility.

I honestly think this is the meat and potatoes of a great number of political differences affecting America today. Privacy, personal responsibility, and acceptance of personal consequences is the great alien triad to far too many modern Americans. Yes, people make bad decisions and screw up... but there are still quite a few of us who sit down afterward, say "well hell, I effed that up" and then roll up our sleeves to figure out how to extract ourselves from our own problems. It's a lot more difficult than rushing to your local support source, weeping your tale of sorrow and woe, and then expecting everybody else to solve your life worries for you and/or pick up the slack that is ultimately only impactful to you and those closest to you.

According to article, none of those states offer such policies as of mid 2017.

So. Yet another practically meaningless but politically charged gesture by the prez?

Children fighting cancer roll up their sleeves with every treatment. They didn't make choices that gave them cancer.

People no longer want to take ownership, take responsibility for their lives.

They actually want to cede that authority over to government.

Actually people are ready to step up and not only take care of themselves but also add support for others who can't afford it. I understand the concept is alien to you... but all these "snowflakes" and "liberals" are people who actually care about the plight of others, and genuinely believe in a system where we can be UNITED in helping each other.

I can't believe you actually had the balls to write that lying little post.
