This really struck a chord with me, gut, as it seems necessary to consciously (no pun intended) be on the lookout for these built in "course corrections"

I notice that as I follow a train of throught while exploring these ideas, many time it starts leading down a comfortable, almost masturbatory, familiar and wholly selfish ego driven path. I kind of snap out of it and realize what's happening, but it's shocking to realize that our own minds can battle us like this. It's something I've never really experienced on this level before and it brings a whole new meaning to the term "self awareness" although the real question, is whether it's actually coming from the self, or something else. I think it's fairly obvious where I put my money.

It's as if you're walking through a forest exploring new paths, and every time you find a good one, someone pops up and says "Hey, you know, this path over HERE is SO much nicer! Why don't you come along down here? That's right, you know you'll like it"

My greatest fear right now is accidentally falling into those traps, but I think like anything we get better at it with practice, and I've had a whole lot of practice recently. It reinforces the idea that nobody/thing can take our minds from us, but it is unfathomably easy to get us to surrender them.

To see what happens I've been practicing on giving up control over situations in my life, and oddly enough it seems to pay dividends. It's seeming like selfishness and desire for control over my physical life were the two largest road blocks to any sort of personal growth, and all this research kind of puts the importance of the physical world on a different level, and having a taste of what's possible now really drives home the idea that fulfillment isn't found on the physical plane.

A reoccurring theme seems to be a deep feeling or understanding of cliche's that used to be nothing but... well cliche's. Cliche's are kind of the same thing as social meme and myth in a way. But there is a difference between a logical understanding of what the cliche is telling us about life, and actually feeling an awareness of it.

Odd that the lessons a cliche can teach are often ignored simply because they are so cliche, perhaps part of the built in self correction mechanism? Get people to disregard truth simply because it's such obvious truth?

I'm rambling again, my apologies, it seems hard to avoid these days!

I think we are caught in an evolutionary cascade unlike any this planet has ever gone through before. It is an exponential acceleration, and the human mind/body/spirit interface, our imaginations and technologies, are at the forefront and cutting edge of this process. It's really the advancement of more variety and interconnections of life, complexity, that is caught in a spiral. What this means is that we are spiraling towards a singularity. The crossing over to the "other side", the dimensional shift or phase transition, will manifest itself most in the human mind and our technology. This is why I think the UFO mystery really represents our own evolution and future.

We are the "Control System" - the collectivity of the human race. Our imagination, thoughts, neural pathways, beliefs are all part of the overall control system that can trigger a wide variety of paranormal events. But ultimately it is us as a species that is mutating. It is kind of like a metamorphosis, similar to a caterpillar being enzymatically dissolved and transformed into an entirely different creature - with wings to fly! Not all of humanity will suddenly become a new species, but I assume that the younger generation will evolve mental and spiritual abilities like telepathy and psychokinesis. I also assume that at some point our own consciousness will cross over into 0s and 1s entirely, as depicted in the movie 'Transcendence', in a vast telepathic hyperspace represented by the omega point of this singularity.

Not all of us will get to participate in this, at least not physically, because the stress of this process on the human mind and body is so extreme that it is inducing a variety of "fight or flight" responses and actual mental and physical illnesses as a result. It is my supposition that in many ways the entire planet is going out of its collective mind - and any adaptation to this chaotic transition will include ways of dealing with vast quantities of high-speed data transfer as well as a way to remain calm, centered and in the moment. A shift from left-hemisphere dominated linear thought and language to a more unified whole between right and left that is much more streamlined and visual.

The following video is absolutely required viewing for you and any frequenters of this thread. It is a TED Talks given in 2013 by Jacques Vallee on the subject of accelerating processes in computer technologies and the geopolitical state of the planet. There are many fascinating details and clues in here about possible near-future encounters with UFOs and very sudden and dramatic changes. The talk is called 'The Age of the Impossible: Anticipating Discontinuous Futures'.

An interesting correlation can be found during the sequence when he is talking about his favorite sci-fi novel 'The World of Null-A', which involves a man being killed and reincarnated with stronger mental abilities, and Vallee insinuating that our own technology is leading towards the ability to resuscitate and transfer human consciousness into new bodies. If you have seen the movie 'Transcendence', you will remember that one of the most dramatic scenes is when the disembodied consciousness of Johnny Depp's character helps revive a worker who was killed by using state-of-the-art nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence. He was also able to insert his own consciousness into the body of the revived worker.

The cutting edge of our covert ops technological development, in my opinion, is in the area of the astral body...

I have often thought of him as a person of unusually high integrity for the relationships and positions he has held. He is faithful to his oaths and secrecy commitments. Yet, he tries, within those boundaries, to alert the wider culture to the hazards we are increasingly walking into and immersed in.

AS with many things in our era . . . I believe firmly that folks MUST read between the lines of Dr Vallee's many public and written statements. His screams may be muffled. They are NOT thereby less important. Actually, they are MORE important, than if they were not muffled, imho.

Let me interject a hypothetical scenario. In this hypothesis I am an alien whose intelligence dwarfs yours but I like the human species and wish to benefit it. We have the capability of greatly expanding human technology and intelligence but are presented with a species that most often misuses its technology for destructive purposes and can not resist the temptation to find cause to wage war - it is in the nature of the species [we see it as a defect]. We could forget about humans and allow the species to either reach a state of civilization [sometimes refered to as a Type I Civilization]] or destroy themselves. Some of us would let the game play out to its logical conclusion - if the species can not evolve maybe it is better that it does not exist. But other intelligences who appreciate the struggles of a race rooted in a barbaric past and mentatlity would like to advance the species as they see it as a potentialy creative species capable of adding to our.......

Now do you think that human intelligence can be expanded without a 'control system'. Serioulsy think about it. If your technology were to suddenly expand now what do you think would be the outcome? Would you suddenly show appreciation and advance to a civilized state or would you destroy each other? If I give you powers beyond your current imagination would you trust youself with them? And more important would you trust everyone else with them?
You see the problem? Therefor there must be a 'control system' until that day that a Type I Civilization is manifest.

I think your assessment that he is revealing startling and very serious information about the near future is absolutely correct. Listen to his tone of voice at the end when he says "and the sudden emergence of new facts". He also goes over a list of different war strategies from throughout modern history that utilized seemingly "impossible" surprise attacks. He ended the list with a reference to how the Pentagon could not think of UFOs as anything other than mental illusions and left the anecdote up in the air and said to "fill in the blanks in the next couple years". Very telling, if you ask me. He also alluded to the possibility of sudden computer-generated glitches and how the majority of our technological civilization is under automated computer control. Think about 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' and how the entire planet was essentially shut down...

I has a dry wit . . . maybe a wry sense of humor.

But he's incredibly bright . . . very incredibly bright.

I think he's been trying to alert the perceptively thought-full for decades--at least a couple.

I think he's grieved about what he knows. He looks like someone bearing a horrific burden with an incapacity . . . welll, not incapacity . . . an impossibly "damned if he does and damned if he doesn't" situation . . . between a rock and a hard place--like 2 mill stones.

He knows that if he says too much, he'll merely be snuffed out or masterfully propagandized, ridiculed into absurdity.

He must know that the bulk of the populace are to blitheringly brainwashed to ever wake up remotely soon.

He must know that some of the brighter, more perceptive might just be alert enough to read between his carefully crafted lines.

What an awful position to be in.

I wonder if he'll get more pointed and more obvious the closer we get to dramatic change? Will he throw the risk issues to the wind and dare to be more clear about such things . . . or not?

Wish we could get him on an AMA.

So glad you posted this "TED Talk"! I watched it several months ago and meant to link it here but got sidetracked, I guess, and never did...

Well guys, I checked out Nick Redfern's Three Men Seeking Monsters...and suprisingly enough it had a bunch of stuff that I suspect is relevant to our thread. I took notes over lunch...

1. Basically Redfern believes that we are dealing with 'Cormans' (the term used by a 'witch' they were hanging out with - anyone heard this word before?) - something like a Tulpa but independant and which feeds off our emotional reaction to the stage managed 'experience' it induces.

2. These things were supposedly summoned by a collection of Celtic magicans known as *drumroll* The Nine to defend Britain from Roman invasion.

3. As Vallee and Hynek found, apparently the best response to 'psychic backlash' is humor.

Its a pretty interesting account, and there are some real weird tie-ins with the Collins Elite stuff. Exactly why this is is of course, debatable.

I'd say that TED talk was probably the most obvious thing he's said publically for decades. We really need to get him for a detailed AMA or interview or something.

Your admiration of Vallee mirrors my own (which I've expressed time and again thru-out this thread)...

...And I absolutely agree with you and corsair as to what Vallee is trying to 'tell' us in the linked "TED Talk"....Along with the 'discreet' sense of urgency, there is an air of deep sadness about him in this...

Many, many pages ago in this thread, the question of why Vallee no longer 'seems to be' trying to discover anything about his "Control System" kept coming up - inexplicably (having not seen this video at the time), I was hit with the suspicion that, considering how far down the 'doom' path the world has gone, he simply doesn't feel that the 'search' matters anymore (i.e., 'what's the point?'/apathy)

I don't know if you've seen it, but Vallee wrote a book called, "The Network Revolution" (1982) which, I felt, was a sort of warning about the possible dangers of 'future' (at the time) technology in the way it could impact society (and sadly, he's turned out to be right..)


Interesting you mentioned his "wry sense of humor", "The Network Revolution" is written sort of 'tongue in cheek'...to the degree that his 'warning' is very much between the lines...it seems as if he was hoping he was wrong the whole time he was writing it...

It would be very fascinating to see how he'd handle the questions he could not afford to answer candidly.

And, a big part of me is convinced that 55% or more of him would love to be on an ATS AMAQ . . . given his very early net background etc.

I read him as above average truly egalitarian in the sense of his having an intense sense of fair play as a high value, a crucial right and properly a very high priority in society.

I think he's also keenly aware that he's a rather high-powered . . . uhhhhh . . . serf . . . of the ruling elite and their 'critter' managers.

Yes. I certainly see the deep sadness about him. That's troubling enough on its own. It's just . . . grievous to see such an excellent mind with such an authentic heart and high values . . . so saddened by the burdens of knowledge he must routinely carry.

I agree. I do not think he's researching a lot any more about the critters and their control system over the arrogant human elite and growingly the planet.

I think he realizes it's essentially all over in the short term . . . that the die is cast and the demonic, tyrannical, truly satanic script will play out as it is "destined" to play out without a great deal of modification. That HAS to sadden him a lot.

I'll also hazard the thought that I do not think he's all that impressed with his colleagues--even at his level--and certainly not their "CONTROLLERS" above them.

I think he feels that the populace deserves better of the brighter people. I think he's somewhat incredulous that such high IQ people can be so utterly stupid.

But he's far too much of a gentleman to go far down that road--particularly publicly, imho.

I'd love to see him as the leader of a major country [IF such leaders could really make any lasting difference not ordered by the oligarchy]. But he's far too bright and informed to imagine that such a position would have any real power.

I think he knows that doing his "publicly covert" subtle 'info alert' bit from time to time is more powerful, potentially, than anything else he could realistically do.

I think, as Scientific adviser to Bigelow Aerospace and probably sporting 'Cosmic' top secret security clearance, Jacques Vallee has been "in the know" for decades and has brainstormed in the big think tanks in the Air Force etc. Not only did he come up with and publish the notion of the need for 'Apocalypse Management', in relation to the out-of-control nature of accelerating computer technologies and our planet's overpopulation, but he has probably been actively overseeing the "Apocalypse Management" itself. I do believe such activities are largely handled by National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.

What he is relating in this 2013 Ted Talks is basically those types of things he had related in 'The Network Revolution', and unfortunately it might not all be fluffy ETs coming to save us. But there could be a component of both annihilation and transformation in the mix. The "disclosure" or contact event I support most is similar to the one depicted in 'The Day the Earth Stood Still', where the ET and his advanced technology comes to save the Earth. But in order to save Earth, humanity must be either done away with or stopped in their tracks. In that moment of crisis, when humanity is being threatened with extermination, the ability to transform completely away from existing as a destructive industrial civilization was forced by the ET intelligence. This meant shutting down all of the factories and industrial machinery. I imagine if this scenario is actually utilized in the near future, the "ETs" could help show the survivors a "new way" to live on the planet.

But the sad reality that could be seen in Vallee's eyes is that to a large extent the situation on the planet has reached a certain type of F.U.B.A.R. status. It could be that this is just a byproduct of a run-away process of acceleration, and the chaos was never really intended or created. Or it could be that trying to transform the entire planet has been so difficult, and there were hopes to have it taken care of earlier and in a more efficient manner, but plans were derailed and sidetracked along the way. (There is also the possibility that the chaos and destruction has been encouraged). Now we may have passed a "tipping point" where a certain percentage of humanity may actually be unable to adapt and make it past this specific moment of impact. Which is where the Federal Emergency Management Agency and "Apocalypse Management" comes into play...

Do recall that the most recent Edward Snowden revelation has to do with releasing all of the names of Americans who have been targeted by NSA surveillance. If you have ever seen the episode of Jesse Ventura's 'Conspiracy Theory' featuring Alex Jones , which was actually banned from re-airing on network television, you will recall the theme of the "fusion centers" collecting information on specific American individuals - as well as the F.E.M.A. detention centers. In researching those infamous conspiracy theories from old Alex Jones documentaries, it is shown that there have been military drills to deal with an eventual emergency situation when Martial Law is enacted, where people are gathered up and categorized in different color-coded groups: Red, Blue and Green. Red are the Christians and militia types, Blue would be the police forces used to round up the Red group, and the Green would be the "keepers" that could be re-educated into the new civilization (or New World Order). [Side note: If you have seen the movie 'Prisoners', you will remember how one of the abductees was named Alex Jones and that the main character was a police officer who was forced to round up the militia type who was locked up at the end and blowing a red whistle.]

It is my supposition that most of the people who frequent this thread are actively "green" personalities. Remember, we are trying to save the planet from the madness of this industrial civilization. So it is perhaps a most unfortunate necessity for there to be this 'Apocalypse Management'. But what role will the UFOs play? That is very hard to say.

We may actually get a "divine intervention"...
