Welllllllllll, Professor . . . have avoided this thread for a long time just because I knew it was a hefty, quality set of info . . . and I was awash in other priorities. My other priorities have not let up since my Dad's graduation from this life and the thread is getting into stratospheric dimensions in a list of ways. So, I guess I'd best wade in and not delay any longer! LOL.

Congrats on yet again a tremendous job of providing quality info and discussing it in a quality way.

1. Has the hypothesis re a control system been tested?

(A) I'd guesstimate that it most certainly has.
(1) Because the PTB have been groping around for decades to ferret out all the info on the phenomena that they can and Vallee has had excellent connections from early on.

(2) Because humans--particularly arrogant PTB humans--are very intensely interested in !!!!CONTROL!!!! . . . . and very definitely in OUT-CONTROLLING any entities/critters that seem or demonstrate controlling us with impunity and unassailably.

2. Why is he so vague . . . even secretive?

(A) He has high level connections and awareness and understanding that he's been made privy to which MUST not be compromised

(1) If he is to maintain those contacts.

(2) If he is to remain healthy and among the living.

(3) It's an ongoing phenomenon which he's intensely curious about; which he has an uncommon perspective of and which he would probably like to see better analysis of. He probably knows that facilitating the better analysis--even with the help of more public and diverse personages and groups--is a very tricky thing given the powers that be and their !!!!CONTROL!!!! mentality regarding the phenomenon.

(3.1) However, he probably realizes that to AVOID involving more of the public and more NON-TUNNEL-VISIONED individuals of great thoughtfulness and creativity--MAY JUST BE ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL TO SURVIVAL AS HUMANS with anything resembling independence, freedom and 'self-control.'

4. He MAY realize that the foundational realities are as he has hinted so articulately yet vaguely . . . that said realities involve SPIRITUAL ENTITIES coming and going from a SPIRITUAL DIMENSION . . . that is essentially extremely dark, ruthless, fiercely evil.

(A) And THEREFORE it IS EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS AND TRICKY to try and get such a perspective out into the public awareness remotely safely and in a way which will have the respect of thoughtful bright people of every walk of life.

Wellllll, I've downloaded his CONTACT TRILOGY to my Kindle Fire . . . and maybe another or so of his. Not the super expensive volumes, however.

I suppose I should read the ones I've downloaded before getting toooo many pages deep into this thread. LOL.

It seems to me that we have evidence of a control system with a number of phenomena related to the whole kit and kabuttal

1. WHEN discussions are public about CERTAIN TYPES AND LEVELS of the goings on . . . particularly in certain venues and degrees of public awareness . . .

one of TWO things seems to happen with some speed and fierceness:

1. The PTB squash it ruthlessly

and/or

2. The critters and related phenomena obfuscate it and/or fog it and/or lead away down various rabbit trails . . . and/or . . . abduct the folks who are then never heard from again.

To whom are the boundaries at all permeable?

Who and/or what controls the boundaries?

Who and/or what are the GATEKEEPERS?

Who and/or what are the GATE-CRASHERS?

What is the purpose, the goal(s) of the boundaries?

What is the purpose of the closed labyrinth?

Are we in a closed labyrinth designed to appear closed?

Are we in a closed labyrinth designed to appear open?

Are we in an open labyrinth designed to appear closed? [I think not]

I don't really think we are in an open labyrinth. But if we are . . . where does the 'end of the sidewalk' lead to? One destination? TWO? More than 2?

Personally I'd start with finding contactee's who've fought back and got a reaction. If you look at the massive amount of anecdotal accounts of people saying the ET's are benign for example I'd be thinking what isn't being said is more important.

I've always thought this was crucial.

And, I believe that THAT VERY ISSUE AND DYNAMIC

is a major targeted thing for the vast amount of disinformation and propaganda . . . e.g. the talk about our "space brothers" here to "save us from ourselves" and similar unfounded blather.

I should probably tell you that The GUT jumped ship over a month ago because this thread has essentially been done to death. He got out of it what he had intended, but it started to take on a life of its own. So he is taking a sabbatical from ATS. It was never his intention for it to go on this long! hahah

I think everyone that has been a frequent guest on this thread has some variety of mental health issues.

It's funny you mention that.

A question that came up for me regarding Vallee's writing, especially the Forbidden Science stuff, was how posterity (us, at the moment) would come to view Vallee's heavy use of pseudonyms for the characters that populate his memoires.

Best that I can figure out is that he was trying to get across about them what you are saying above by Res ipsa loquitur.

And you know what? I've actually been to Devil's Tower! It is very cool, there's a path just at the base (right up against the 'straight' up and down 'walls') that you can walk in a complete circle around the thing...

I was really hoping something 'other-worldly' would happen, but no...not even the slightest 'shivery' feeling or anything...

The thread is definitely worth reading though!! I've even enjoyed going back and re-reading certain sections of pages...
Unfortunately, there are whole sections where the thread got 'sidetracked' off topic adding 'time-wasting' posts and pages to the mix...

You may even notice one of several posts of mine where I point out that this seemed as if being done on purpose, as it was tending to happen each time we were beginning to make progress toward forming ideas of the real 'nature' of Vallee's control system (albeit, we still have not succeeded in that.)

Anyway, my point is, if you're fast reader and good at skimming thru 'non-essential' material, you will be glad you persevered in reading the whole thread...

I think it's very likely that there was a deliberate disinfo, distracting effort made when things started to get to the nitty gritty re Vallee's stuff.

Definitely true. He is sort of a detective and journalist. He may even have that as a career background, I am not sure...

But ultimately I think we are all drawn to these subjects from deep within. A yearning and an intuition of some profound transition in human history. I think that is what was depicted in those characters from 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'. Everyone else was duped and essentially led to the slaughter, but these folks who had an anomalous experience were drawn to the secret spot where all the magic happened.

Our thread may be long, but it seems Nick Redfern has been thinking along the same lines to some extent.

Hey, I had that thought a while ago too: if there are sentient ET around, they are 100% sure to be reading the entire Internet, or as much of it as they have a use for. But that doesn't mean they have IP addresses: they could be tapping in any number of ways.

Leading from that, anything we put on the Internet may be broadcast to the entire universe... they could be watching our cat videos in distant galaxies...kind of a neat thought.
